My heart ached when she told me whatever she did last night. Seeing her dishevelled state all I wanted was to finish myself up.
Yes because I'm the reason behind her nightmares. She has been getting them for the past five years. Precisely from the day I left her.
Even though we're together now, I couldn't help her with her nightmares. And not even a single night has passed when I haven't punished myself for hurting her innocent heart.
Every night to punish myself, I slit my skin over my chest with a blade. Each scar on my chest portrays the pain she faces every night in her nightmares. Without me.
I've been doing this from the day she told me about her nightmares and I realised she's suffering because of me. Had I listened to her that day....
The voices in my mind were suppressed by the words of Navi.
"Teri baraat mein nahi jaarhe hai jo itna time laga raha hai taiyar hone mein!" She screamed from the other side of the door.
(We aren't going to your wedding procession that it's taking you so long to get ready.)
"Aa raha hu, do minute rukja!"I replied. I stroked the scars over my skin before buttoning up the shirt. Making my way out of the room, we drove to the airport.
(I'm coming, just wait two minutes.)

Navi ran out of the car as soon as I parked it in the airport's parking lot. I didn't want her to come along but she being a clingy person can't be resisted.
Yes we both came to the airport to pick my Sunflower. Upon reaching the arrival gate, my phone rang and I moved aside to take the call while Navi's eyes were fixed on the arrivals.
It took me almost ten minutes to conclude the call as it was from the senior officer of IMA. After finishing the call I went back to the arrivals gate.
As I reached there, my eyes fell upon my Sunflower who was hugging my sister.
The dark pink coloured suit was adorning her. Her hairs tied into a messy bun, white jhumkas adding charm to her body.
They both were so lost in each other that they didn't even realize my presence. I cleared my throat to grab their attention.
"Tum dono ka hogya ho to chale?" I said with my eyes fixed on my girl.
(Shall we move, if you guys are done?)
Pulling away from the hug, Reya moved towards me and pulled my cheeks. And the next moment I grabbed her waist to bring her in my embrace. Her eyes widened at my stunt while I was looking at her with devotion.
Before I could say anything to her we heard Navi's voice from the other side "Oyo book krdu aap dono ke lie?"
(Should I book a room for you guys?)
