My hands snaked around her waist and I pulled her closer to me. Looking at her sleeping peacefully in my arms brought a stop to the chaotic thoughts wandering in my mind.
Pecking her forehead softly, I took my phone and saw the time. It was 5 in the morning.
Realising that we were sleeping like this in her house, with her parents just next to the room, I got up from the bed with her in my arms. I couldn't afford to be caught in this position with her by her parents, so I moved out of the room and headed towards her room.
As I laid her on her bed, I covered her with a duvet and made my way out.
Luckily her parents weren't awake so I went back into my room silently and settled on the bed.
Sleep wasn't there in my eyes anymore because I slept peacefully with my Sunflower in my arms for three hours. And that was quite sufficient for me.
Remembering last night, a chuckle left my mouth. How she slapped me, and left in anger cursing me but then came back and curled herself around me.
I couldn't even sleep after she left fuming in outrage. I wanted to go and make her understood but I knew her anger issues.
She wouldn't have listened to me if I tried to talk to her at that moment. This made me restless to a large extent but I chose to wait until her anger melted.
Looking at her devastated state in the hospital, I promised myself to fight for her. I would go to any length to seek justice for her.
Taking out the phone from my pocket, I called Navi who must not be sleeping right now because she's a big night owl.
She picked up just after the second ring.
"What's so urgent at this hour?" I heard her irritating voice.
"Where are you?" I questioned her back.
"Bhai, I told you I'm in Delhi for my case study. Come straight to the point now." She replied irritatingly.
"I need a lawyer!" I said calmly.
"At 5.30 in the morning?" She cried.
"Stop being a jerk Navi, you know what I meant." My voice got a little louder.
"Fine, why you need one?"
"Come with mom dad to Reya's house, you'll get to know everything."
"Bhai I can't..." she tried to say but I cut her mid sentence,
"Navanshi, Reya really wants to meet you. I hope you won't disappoint her." I said in a stern voice and ended the call without waiting for her response.
Since I wasn't feeling like sleeping I stood up and got freshen up. After taking a relaxing bath, I got busy on my phone as I had to attend some urgent businesses.
