"I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO, FIND HER" my words rattle the office as they leave my mouth. It's been a week since the ambush, and I still can't find her. I haven't slept a second of it, I'm not tired, I'm restless and I will not rest until I find my reason for my peace, my Evangeline.

"Sir we have exhausted our men, we have done everything" luca says with bags under his eyes.

"I have not rest, you will not rest, NO ONE WILL REST UNTIL MY FINANCE IS FOUND!" I know he was trying but his efforts will not be seen till i have proof of life.

"Sir we have camera footage of a van filled with armed men about 12 kms from the site" the man beside me (leo) says. My head snaps "show me"

he hands me the laptop and I play the footage. Four men leave the van, one in particular catches my eye. Well, well. Well, I should have known. "Austin" his name leaves my mouth with poison and I know that when I find him, I'm going to tear him apart.

"I need a squad of 25 men fully armed, 7 bulletproof cars and a shit ton of amo. I know where they are, we leave tonight." I stand to my feet and take my laptop with me. "But sir I don't think we will be ready by then" says luca in distress.

"11 hours men, you have eleven hours. That's plenty of time. I'll send you the coordinates luca" I give him a final glare and leave the office in a huff. War and the wrath of me will rain down like a devilish plague on all those who took part in the taking of my angel.

It's an hour's drive, but I'll get there in 40 minutes. I have shut down the roads within a 10km radius, it's already very in the middle of nowhere, next to a lake but i need to be ready for the worst.

I had scoped it out a long time ago but found nothing but cages, the perfect hiding space for that rat to hide in. I have met him but once, the puny thing is probably shorter than evangeline and that's saying something, I almost didn't see him.

His scar tells a story I am keen to know. But his looks will be the least of his problems. I'll give him two more scars. And I know the perfect set to go with that smile, a triangle around each eye to show what a joke he really is.

I almost smile as I imagine all the possible ways to kill him, 78 is how many I have in mind. But death won't come so easy for him. By the end he will be begging for the release, for the end of his life. And I will not stop until I know it's time.

I head towards the shower, sliding its glass door. 2 more hours. I turn on the water and let the crisp shards of its ice fall over me. I don't enjoy cold showers but my love sits in the cold, I deserve to be drowned in it.

Oh evangeline you have no idea of the side of me you will see tonight.

I walk from the shower and look into the mirror, all I see is disappointment. The promise I made to her father being dismissed: "I will always love, protect and care for your daughter, I will put her life above mine and I will do whatever it takes to make sure she stays alive and happy" I made a vow and he 'A' is the reason to why I cannot be with her now and keep her safe.

My jaw hardens and I look at the reflection in the mirror. My fist hits the glass and it shatters into pieces, the sharp stinging sensation pulses in my hand from the broken skin.

I will find her even if I have to sell whatever is left of my soul to the devil to do so.

I leave the shower and begin getting dressed, long black compression shirt, and bullet proof vest. Black pants, gun holster around my belt holding amo, my black boots and strap holding two blades, just in case. Ready.

I exit the room to an awaiting Luca "I trust that everything has been taken care of?"

He gives me a nod and we walk down the marble steps and to the door. From here I can see my 25 armed men standing in line and bowing at my approach.

"Rise men, tonight we take back our queen. And 'A' is mine...I trust that you will do whatever means necessary to make sure she comes back alive!?" I yell "yes sir!!" I nod my head "then get ready for one hell of a fight boys".
