Chapter 3 - Connection

When May was heading towards her home it was a sunny day with hot winds blowing everyone was affected by the hot winds except her. Because she was lost in his thoughts,she was neither feeling hot nor cold what she was feeling was unexplainable. She was so lost that she couldn't realised she almost reached home. After that she changed and had her food. Then suddenly a notification pops up in her phone by her school saying that from tomorrow onwards their will be summer break. May was so disappointed that she'll not get to see him daily. But he left a sense of touch to her which she couldn't forget. She felt like their was something between them. But that connection is temporarily unavailable now. In the evening May called Ulyssa and told her about how she felt Ulyssa still encouraged her saying "You have his account you can text him anytime". But May disagreed saying that it'll creep him out. Ulyssa still said "You can text him when u miss him"
"Forget it, let's change the subject"
May replied. Then they both started talking about the work the have been given by school. Suddenly Ulyssa remembered something So she said to May that if she knows Robert. "Robert? Who? That guy who flirts with every girl that passes by?"  said May.
"Yes" said Ulyssa
"Duhh! What about him now? I haven't seen such a weird guy flirting and texting every girl, that man literally creeps me out" said May
Ulyssa said "Yooo gurlll!!!! listen up don't make such character sketch of him he was just betrayed by the love of his life which maked him a Playboy"
"Ohh sorry to hear that, but why are you telling me this?" asked May
"Just warning you incase you'll catch feelings for him" said Ulyssa
May said "Me??? Falling for him?? No way he's not at all my type"
"Good for you then" said Ulyssa.
Then suddenly Ulyssa said that she has to go somewhere so she'll text her later. May agreed and then a two minute call which turned out to be one hour gossip session ended.
After that for around 20:30pm. May started to go through Steven's socials his intrest,his followers,hos following everything. Which made her mad seeing so much girls on his following and followers made her jealous. "Calm down gurl, it's just following" May told herself. Then suddenly she saw her posts and all that jealousy and anger melted like an ice cream. "What is happening to me? Why am i angry for no reason? And why should suddenly i'm smiling and blushing like an idiot?" May asked herself
"Maybe because you are in love" said her sister jokingly. "Ohh please just shut up and mind your own business" said May. "My only business is to annoy you" said Kate (her sister).
  
   (Then she headed outside the room)

"Get a grip May, or else he'll shatter you apart" said May to herself.

That one month summer break was was passing like a camel walking in sahara. Those days were like a burden to May she badly wanted to see him.
     
                   (After three weeks)
While May was scrolling and goin through tik toks she found something relatable so she thought to share it. She shared it to one of her friends without realising she mistakenly sent it to Steven. Because his name was beside her. After one hour when May checked if her friend had seen the tik tok she sent or not. She was dumbfounded seeing that she sent that to Steven and what was more astonishing was that he even responded to it. "Ohh my what do i do? What if he thinks i'm a creep? What if he thinks i'm annoying? What do i do now" May asked herself panicking. She didn't know what to do so she called Ulyssa but she didn't pick. After that luckily she called May back. "Oh my what do i do now?" said May. Ulyssa said "Relax gurll!!! what happened? Did the earth is about to blast?Why are u panicking?". May said "It's not the time to crack jokes". "Then tell me what do i do?" asked Ulyssa. May then told her everything that how she sent him a tik tok and he responded but she hadn't seen his text yet. "SO THIS WAS THE THING YOU HAVE BEEN PANICKING AROUND!!!!?????????" said Ulyssa in a temper. "Yes" said May. "Are u crazy just look at his text what's so difficult in it gurl??" asked Ulyssa. "Nothing is difficult but what if he thinks i'm weird?". "He'll not, now just go and check his text out".  Both hanged up the call. And then May checked his text out which said "yea kinda relatable". May somehow got the courage to reply she just shared a laughing emoticon. This was literally the best she could do. Then Steven texted him and asked him "how she's been doing?" May replied positively and then they both texted a little. It was almost midnight so she couldn't get to tell to Ulyssa. But deep down she was smiling like and idiot possesd by an idiotic spirit.

On the next day she told everything to Ulyssa about how they talked. "Woww it's actually a nice start of knowing each other,well done my gurl!!!"
"Thankyou so much my advisor" said May. "But you should also talk to him during the school hours it will make your bond stronger" adviced Ulyssa. "Yes, surely i'll try" replied May.

            (After the summer break)

It was literally a month going to school felt so nostalgic. May happily arrived school thinking she'll see Steven after a month and she'll also try talking to him. As soon as she entered the corridor she overheard a conversation about a guy who's dating a girl outside of school. May was lost in Steven thoughts so she ignored it. But suddenly the other girl said "yes i know him it's Steven who's dating outside school".

The smiley, charming and glowy face everything faded off out of blue. And what left was lividnes...
