Chapter 18 - Dancing shoes

"Miss blind!!! Have you eaten?" asked David
"Yes why?" May asked
"What do you mean by why we have to go for practice" said David
"Ohhh i almost forgot,,you go first i'll come" said May
"Okay" said David
*Exits*
"Ohh!! So now you guys are friends?" said Ulyssa.
"Yea...kind of" said May
"Pretty good" said Ulyssa
After having her food May left. When she entered Ryan and Driva were already there. May was feeling anxious again. But the moment David came he started to say silly jokes,,which weren't that much funny but at the same time were.
Soon begins the practice the teacher says May and David to come in the centre rest all will revolve around them doing their steps. The teacher explained everything in detail so there was no doubt left.
"But there's a twist... since May and Ryan did pretty well together on the day of principal's birthday. May will be having two partners,Ryan and David. These three are supposed to be at the centre.
May's jaw dropped the moment the teacher announced that..she was as still as water.
But she didn't gave up..
"I can't be a barrier in Ryan's love story" said May to herself.
"But Miss.. what about Driva" asked May
"Ohh she already said she doesn't want to dance as she's not feeling well" said Ryan out of nowhere with a haste
"He even knows what she wants and what she doesn't....... maybe it's a match made in heaven" said May sorrowfully.
The three of them practiced together firstly it was David's turn with May. And secondly when the beat changes it was Ryan and May's turn. May hesitated at first thinking that how she can dance with someone else's man. But the moment his hands met her waist and their eyes met each other's eyes. It felt like the spotlight was on them and the rest were pleasing to have this moment but they weren't as lucky as they were. Both of them were trying to hide their feelings but they actually forgot their eye's speak. Dancing and moving swiftly looking affectionately at each other.
"I want to stay like this longer..as long as it can be extended" Ryan thought
"I know that this moment as all other moments will end..but i wish i could stop the time and we'll stay like this forever and ever and ever.........

The music ended.
"Are you angry with me?" Ryan asked
"Why do you keep asking me that??" said May
"Why do you keep ignoring me then back then when we were to dance. You said you're not well and the next moment you started dancing with David!" said Ryan
"He insisted me to do that" said May
"You should've said no then"
"When will you stop being a doormat for others????" said Ryan harshly
"Just stop it!! I'm not a doormat...You are the one you treated me that way and now you're saying i'm a doormat??" said May angerly
Ryan was about to say something but David enters there saying
"Yo broo! What's wrong you shouldn't talk like that with a girl" said David
"Mind your business,,she's my friend" said Ryan
"So he is" said May with a teary eye and anger
"Let's go May, i think he's not in his senses" said David holding her hand
Both of them left leaving Ryan alone who was looking at them from afar...
"Why i'm really angry these days when it comes to May" Ryan thought

               (In the classroom)
Ryan wanted to apologise to May for his rude behaviour. But everytime he goes near to her someone always interrupted him.
It was finally the time to go home.
"Now maybe i can get a chance to talk with her" said Ryan to himself
But when he was packing up his stuff May already left. That hope turned into misery.
"What's with you bro? You're acting weird these days" said Richard
"Well...Do you know what it means when all you want is to be with someone.. whenever you're with them you wish that the time stops. Also when you see them with someone else you feel like.... somewhere in your heart it's aching... rest even i don't know what i'm feeling" said Ryan
"Is this about a girl?" asked Richard
"Yes" Ryan replied
"May?" Richard asked
"Yes? But why?" said Ryan
"Nothing... it's just you'll get to know that soon broo" said Richard with a smile
"Okay so bye now!! Take care!! And whatever it is try to solve it without being stubborn and shy" said Richard leaving the classroom
"Why was he smiling was this funny?" said Ryan to himself.
The class was all empty.. Suddenly May came hyping up saying "Wait!!! I forgot something"
The moment she entered she saw Ryan who was about to leave. She hastily took her notebook on her desk without looking at him.
"HEY WAIT" said Ryan
May listened that but she ignored him and moved out.
"I must have hurted her alot" said Ryan with a sigh
With that sigh on his face he went home.
