Chapter 9 - The beginning

"Ryan" said May affectionately
"So that's his name,okay cool!" said May.
(Next day at school)
"Guys i found his name it's Ryan" said May to her friends
"Good job gurl" said Ulyssa
"But why are you happy about knowing his name?" Nia asked
"It's just......the happiness you get when you complete a task, nothing else" said May
"But i don't think so he can speak" said Ulyssa jokingly
"C'mon you shouldn't say that" May interrupted
"Okay so stop discussing now and get back to work" said Ulyssa.
"OKAY!!!!" replied everyone

(At May's place)

"We're in same class so i should add him up on my socials, Maybe i'll need his help in the future" thought May.

*Searching*

"Ohh found it!!but i'm not sure if he'll add me" though May

(After 20 minutes)

*Accepted request*
Nothing much happened they were seeing each other's updates casually. But they haven't started talking yet.

(One day)
"GET UP MAY!!! GET READY FOR SCHOOL,OR ELSE YOU'LL BE LATE" said May's mother.
"I'm not feeling well,can i stay home today?" asked May
"Okay fine but make sure to complete your notes" said May's mother
"Fine i'll" said May

In the evening Ulyssa calls May to ask if she's doing well.
"Yea i was just feeling a bit dizzy so i decided to take an off" said May
"Aah okay" said Ulyssa
"Can you please send me today's work?" asked May
"Yep i'll but except that one interest's subject" said Ulyssa
"Yea no problem i'll see" May replied
"Well i know no one from that subject of mine"..... thought May while scrolling her socials.. suddenly Ryan's notification pops.
"Ohhh he can help me" May thought
*Texting him*
"Hey,,well i don't know if you know but i'm in you class". " Would you mind sending me today's notes" May texted
"I know you're in my class, yes i can send" Ryan texted
"Umm...he seems like a gentleman from texting,but i feel sad for him that he can't speak May mumbled.
*Ryan sended*
"Thankyou" said May
(Ryan didn't responded)
"Jeezzzz i thought he was gentleman but he's one of that guys who are egoistic" thought May

Meanwhile she started to think about Joyous her life was when she had a crush everything was new to her. She never skipped school because she wanted to see him everyday. But it's the opposite now.

"Nothing good was brought to me ever since i started to like that guy Steven"
"No glow ups, no good grades, no perfect hair, no peace, nothing" said May

"Will i ever be preached by someone like the men in books?" Said May

"Well atleast i can make friends!!! I'll try to know the people around me which i never tried because of Steven"

As days passed May started to know everyone and she was friends with everyone instead of having anxiety and insecureness she still tries to make others smile.One day Ulyssa asked her
"Why are you always smiling and comforting others,even when they didn't bother about you"
"Sometimes the small things that you do in someone's life matters alot to them,you can't understand everyone's pain but you can help them to escape it for a while" said May
"But...still this unconditional kindness always hurts,i'm telling you in case you'll get hurt" said Ulyssa
"Nothing will happen now,don't worry " said May

"I have known everyone here except Ryan" thought May

"Well....... you know Ulyssa,i am friends with everyone here except Ryan,,what shall i do"? asked May
"Well you both share same subjects so maybe you should try asking him notes?" said Ulyssa doubtfully.
"I tried that but he didn't responded much" said May
"Well....why are you curious of knowing him?" said Ulyssa
"Well..i told you i want to be friends with everyone" said May
"Well...if they don't give a fuck that you do that too gurl!!" said Ulyssa
"But you can't say that over one text only" said May
"Fine,,then just talk to him, that's the only thing you can do" said Ulyssa
"I can't,,i'm nervous...." said May
"Gurlllll!!!!!" said Ulyssa angerly
"Ok fine i'll calm down"said May
"GREAT!!" said Ulyssa

(At May's place)
"Lol,this tik tok is really funny,i should share it to all of my friends"
*TAPS SHARE TO EVERYONE*

*SENDS TO RYAN TOO*
"It was funny though" said Ryan
May just reacts to his text acting normal

As the days passed May and Ryan started to send tik toks to one another. And then they both started to chat day and night. They were becoming good friends.
*One day on text*
"Okay so tell me something about yourself" asked May
"Me? Ahh about what?" asked Ryan
"Anything will be fine" said May
"Ok so.......i like playing basketball" said Ryan
"Ohh really?? But i haven't saw you before" said May
"Really? Well you are kinda introvert that's why maybe" said Ryan
"Or maybe i was never interested in seeing anyone" said May
"Ahh i see" said Ryan

Their bond was getting stronger day by day they both teased each other but at the same time were caring too. They were always fighting but  making with each other too at the same time. Their affection towards one another was increasing with every passing day.
(At school)
"So Miss May,,now you literally forgot me" said Ulyssa
"Nahhh bruhhhh, why did u say that" asked May
"Because my time is being shared with Ryan now" said Ulyssa
"Aahhh naahh bitch,,Mommy comes first" said May jokingly
"Yeaah for sure!"
"But i'm happy to see you happy" said Ulyssa
"All thanks to Ryan, i don't know how but i'm so comfy with him i tend to share every single detail of my life with him.....He's someone special ....

He's got the eyes that are just wow i can't stop looking at them and that smile which brightens my whole day i can't stop thinking about it" said May affectionately

"Well.....ahem? Are you sure you guys are *JUST FRIENDS* said Ulyssa
"Yeah we are" said May
"Well doesn't sounded the way you were describing him with the love pouring from your eyes.
