"You want me to go with you to the Casino?"
You put a hand on your hip as you narrowed your eyes on your ever smiling boyfriend, a smile on his lips and in his eyes before he opened his mouth to speak. "Why not? It'd be fun, no?" He chuckled and stepped close, gently taking your hands in his with a charming smile.
"You're aware it won't be as much with me there, right?" You asked and cocked a brow as his kissed your hands, a soft hum leaving him as he stood up straight again and squeezed your hands.
"I think it'll be more fun, personally." he chuckled and tilted his head, "To see your face when i make a crazy gamble, and then your face regarding that gambles outcome will certainly be worth it." he hummed and let go of one of your hands.
"Plus, there's free drinks?" he grinned and tilted his head, awaiting your response as he stepped back and adjusted his hat. You grumbled softly and pinched the bridge of your nose with a soft sigh, eventually you looked back at him and his cheery smile..he obviously knew what your answer would be from the get go.
"Fine.." you answered begrudgingly and walked passed him to put on a jacket and your shoes, "Perfect~" he cooed and followed you, leaning over to kiss your cheek before he stepped back and put his rose tinted sunglasses on.
You took his hat off his head and placed it on your own with a small smile, flicking his glasses with a hum. "Lead the way, Gambler." You said, hooking your arm with his.
He laughed and nodded, "Right this way~" he hummed and opened your hotel room and stepped out, the lock clicking behind you both. You held onto his arm tightly as he began to lead you down the winding halls and down a few staircases.
The marble floor suddenly transitioned into thin carpet, the main path through the casino was a clear red path, but he pulled you off the path quickly. The casino was full of voices bouncing off of every wall, it was a tornado of emotions.
There were sighs of defeat, laughter and cheers along with drunken profanities from men and women whom had too much to drink. All these voices and emotions swirled around your ears and were just slightly dizzying.
You rubbed your temple and sighed before looking around at all the bright lights and screens of slot machines, it reeked of hubris. "Its very loud.." you muttered and held onto him just a little tighter as you looked around.
Aventurine looked down at you and kissed the side of your head, "You get used to it after a bit, if you ever want to leave let me know.." he hummed softly, you could already imagine the caring look behind those sunglasses.
You smiled slightly and nodded, squeezing his arm and looking around "I will, i can't imagine navigating back to our room from here anyway." You admitted, making him chuckle to himself.
He lead you through groups of people chatting and drinking around slot machines or card tables while watching people waste away with their money. You had heard Aventurine mention how he enjoys seeing the difference in expressions and emotions regarding the win or loss of money.
But eventually the two of you stopped and he slipped his arm from yours, not before leaving behind a kiss on the back of your hand. You stared for a moment before following him as he sat down at a poker table alongside a few other gentlemen.
