The light outside was always so blinding that it was difficult to fall asleep and stay that way, there were times when the blackout curtains couldn't even be of much help. Luckily for you however, you had a boyfriend that was happy to let you hid away in his chest like it was a pillow.
Mydei found it easier to fall asleep then you did with the everlasting light from Kephale, so it was a win for the both of you. His armor was left at the way-side, his arms holding onto you gently yet so securely, like letting go was a risk.
"Hmph.." he huffed softly, opening his golden eyes and yawning before looking down at you, propping his head up in his hand as his other hand moved up from your upper back to play with your hair. Doing so did the opposite of what he was originally hoping for, serving to wake you up just a little faster.
"Hm..morning.." you mumbled softly and looked up at him with a tired smile before looking away and yawning, shifting about underneath the blanket and untangling your legs from Mydei's.
"Morning." his voice was gruff as ever, but his morning voice added a touch of depth and raspyness, making him sound even more attractive then usual..it was nice to wake up to. "Hm..is it raining..?" you mumbled and broke free of Mydei's hold and sat up, listening closely and getting up to look out the window.
Mydei didn't seem pleased, being abandoned before sluggishly getting up and following you, pulling you back against him just to lean forward slightly to watch the rainfall. "Hm, i suppose that sparring match is to be postponed." he stated and looked down at you as you nodded.
"Unless you want to spar indoors, of course." you joked and leaned back against him, feeling your head rise just slightly when he breathed deeply. "Aglea would not appreciate the destruction that would occur." he stated simply and kissed the top of your head.
You laughed and nodded, "You have a point, though it would be funny seeing the anger on her face." Mydei could sniff out your mischievous shenanigans the moment they left your mouth. He tilted your head back to look up at him, looking down at you with a neutral expression, he wasn't privy to smiling outside of a good fight.
"You've nearly met Thanatos a small handful of times through Aglea, yet you still persist?" he sighed and shook his head, "it makes me wonder if she was right when i was advised against being with you." your eyes widened and you quickly turned around, grabbed his face, and stretched his cheeks.
"Don't say that! I'm amazing!" you huffed and glared at him as he grumbled and put his hands over yours if it got you to stop painfully pinching his cheeks. "Agh! Alright!" he huffed and pried your hands off and glared at you for a moment.
But a second later the glare faded and was swiftly replaced by a small smile and a defeated expression, no one could defeat this man as fast as you could. "Look at that smile~" you teased and grinned at him before stepping away and opening the door to the balcony, and out into the rain.
Mydei stared for a moment before sighing, "It is far too early for this.." he grumbled and crossed his arms as you smiled at him through the window, waving as you leaned back against the railing.
