Normally, it was very easy for Trailblazers to fall asleep the moment your heads hit the pillow given you could stay up days at a time thanks to the blessing of the Trailblaze. However this night, the night the three of you and Welt returned to the Express, Dan Heng was having issues sleeping.

It wasn't very far fetched as to why he was struggling with sleep, as most have his past that he kept sheltered from yourself and March had been forcefully revealed. He had encountered figures of his past, enemies and allies alike.

Although neither of you have told the rest of the crew, the both of you had been dating. He's quiet and peaceful, it makes it so nice to rewind with him, relaxing with him in his room. He read the data bank in peace, you play on your phone in silence, simply enjoying eachother's presence.

"Y/n..?" you sat up in your bed and yawned as you looked at your door, tilting your head as you got up and walked over to the door. "what is it..what time is it?" you grumbled and opened the door, looking at Dan with droopy eyes and a slightly disgruntled expression.

"Uhm.." he scratched his cheek before yawning, "Couldn't sleep..mind if i sleep with you?" he inquried softly, his voice barely a whisper..if the Express wasn't dead silent, you wouldn't have heard him.

You stared at him for a moment before yawning and sighing, "Sure.." you looked down at the extra pillows he had brought, his lengthy tail dragging behind him a bit. He smiled at you and walked in, you looked down at his tail as it dragged past you before turning around and closing your door.

"I can't really give you princess treatment.." you chuckled as you walked back over to bed and flopped onto the fluffy blankets and staring at him as he put his pillows and spread them out, like a nest of blankets and pillows.

"I feel like a baby bird.." you smiled and got comfortable, waiting for him to lay down. He smiled down at you before taking off his shirt and laying down next to you. "Hm.." he hummed and kissed the bridge of your nose before leaning back.

His horns faintly glowed in the dark, and before you knew it you felt the tip of his tail brush against your leg, this is when you realized his tail had snaked up and around all over the bed, holding the nest of blankets and pillows together.

You chuckled and smiled at him as his tail gently coiled around your shin, a faint smile on his pretty face. "Your tail is so long.." you muttered softly, feeling sleepier by the moment as his warmth and presence put you at ease.

"It's a hassle most of the time.." he sighed and shook his head, "hehe.." you giggled and held his face, your hand traveling up to gently rub the base of one of his horns. The tip of his tail twitched, like he was trying to prevent it from wagging.

"Its cute.." you whispered and relaxed, for a moment as your eyes nearly closed there was a certain soft glow around the bed, when you opened your eyes it was like the stars had become little lotus'.

Not that you could see the stars from inside the Express, though..

"Wow..pretty." you muttered and reached out to gently tap the petals of one of these Lotus', only for your finger to drift through..they were made of water. It wasn't very surprising, but it made them more beautiful.

Small drops of water deviated from their original Lotus' and turned into stray droplets like little stars, even bubbles began to appear and pop now and then. As you marveled in the beautiful things before your sleep deprived eyes, Dan Heng stared at you with a small smile.

His tail still tried to wag, but he controlled such urges so you wouldn't get riled up, tease him, and then not fall asleep for longer. "Love..sleep, they'll still be there when you open your eyes.." he hummed.

You looked at him and blinked owlishly before smiling and nodding, "right, right.." you muttered softly and rolled onto your side and relaxed. He smiled and wrapped his arms around you and set his chin on your head so the glow from his horns wouldn't bother you.

You hummed and kissed his throat, nestling comfortably in his arms and warmth.

"Goodnight, Dan.." you muttered softly, rubbing his back until the moment you went limp and fell asleep. "Goodnight, dear." he hummed and closed his eyes.

Thankfully when he shared a bed with you, his nightmares were far more tame, if they even popped into his unconscious head. He slept well and slept deep when with you, he was smitten..although he hardly acted like it.

As the hours passed and the Express crew began to wake up, your door opened with Pom-Pom in its way. Given the big lump of blankets, he could hardly tell Dan Heng was in bed with you, given he was so small.

"Hey! Good morning! Have you seen Dan Heng? March said he isn't in his room!" Pom-pom yelled to make sure you heard him despite being asleep. "Ughh..Pom-pom, stop yelling.." you grumbled and sat up, upon doing so, a part of Dan Heng's tail hung off the side of the bed.

Pom-pom tilted his head before his eyes widened and he covered his mouth with his two nubby hands. Dan groaned before opening his eyes and sitting up a bit, Pom-pom's eyes only seemed to widen even more, staring for a moment..before shouting.

 He ran out before you could do much to stop him, grumbling and flopping back onto your spot and sighing. "Guess we got caught." you chuckled and looked over at Dan as he rubbed his eyes and sighed.

"Hmph..Pom-Pom's nearly a bigger loud mouth then March.." he muttered and rolled over, his arm limply wrapping around you. "Hehe..It'll be fine i'm sure.." you hummed and smiled at him as he struggled to keep his eyes open.

"Hm..hopefully Himeko will keep March from bursting in.." you muttered softly, snuggling closer and nuzzling into the crook of his neck. He hummed and held you close, setting his chin on your head as he closed his eyes again.

And just like that, the two of you were peacefully falling asleep again, the sleepy lotus' appearing throughout the room, aiding you into falling asleep again.

Your voice could calm the oceans.
