This is a test drive to see how many people would like to see a Mydei fanfic, since my friend wants one.

Castrum Kremnos is a city of honor, and glory, its royal family however, has a long history of Patricide.

Son's killing their fathers, mother's being left to grieve over the deaths of their husbands or sons, but Mydeimos' story was different. The crown prince of Kremnos, born to follow a path fraught with pains none before him have faced.

You let out a sigh and set the book down, written by a visitor to Kremnos during its period of war with Okhemia, describing the 'short' life of Mydeimos. But Kremnos has fallen, the walls around you had crumbled and its glory had long faded with the sheen of honor that once coated its walls.

You, unlike all of your comrades before, refused to leave the walls of your home to live within the walls of the enemy. Okhemia might be the only city with the grace of warm golden light, but you would not give up the last shred of honor you had in your body.

You would not falter where those before you had, not by your own will, atleast.

Your little safe room was littered with other things you'd collected from around the city, books and journals, pretty things belonging to the royal family, and weapons from the forge. The only thing that really mattered to you was your spear, double sided, two sharp curved blades on each side of the heavy pole.

It was your most trusted adversary in a place littered with titan-kin, you would never leave your safe room without it. You grabbed the pole and slung it over your shoulder as you stepped out of the room and looked around, it was quiet, so you didn't need to worry about any titan-kin.

"There's usually a few lurking around..wonder where they went." you hummed and closed the door, carefully walking over the cracks and rubble as you made your way towards the chain bridges to see what was up.

You swiftly and mercilessly killed off any titan-kin you'd run into along the way towards the bridges, the halls were lit barely by firelight, since the eyes of Aquila had long shut on this place. Your own voice filled your head as you hummed, spinning your spear until you'd reached the chain bridges, letting out a sigh as you prepared to cross.

You stretched your legs briefly before moving your spear to an easier to carry position as you made a B-line down the massive chain. It shook with your movement, but moving faster alleviated the issues of loosing balance. "The day those finally break.." you sighed and shook your head, turning your back to the chain bridge, unaware of the duo that were hot on your tail.

And that the crown prince, had returned home, if only temporarily.

You would usually take this time of night to see what was going on with Nikador, although the titan had lost his sense of reason, you still held out hope for it. Perhaps it was an innate desire to have the glory and beauty returned to your homeland, to see its streets and halls filled with life again.
