The garden was blooming.

In late May, the garden was near full bloom, and you were making sure to tend to it in Luocha's absence. As a traveling merchant, he wasn't home often, and you would travel the stars with him most of the time during the colder months.

But in the spring and summer, you wanted to make sure the garden and the house were well taken care of. And it just so happens Luocha would be home today to help with that. You woke up extra early today to make sure you were here when he walked through the door.

You hummed softly as a song played in your head. The garden was peaceful and covered in the morning dew.  A couple of butterflies glided about and rested on their favorite flowers and plants when you stopped paying attention to them.

You gently brushed your fingers along the leaf's and petals of certain flowers to see if they were healthy and retaining water well when you perked up and looked back at the back door you came out of and gasped.

"Shit!" You yelped and ran over, dropping the watering tin for now as you stepped inside and hurriedly took your shoes off and rounded a corner to the front door and ran square into the blonde mans chest,

He gasped in surprise and quickly wrapped an arm around you to make sure you didn't fall backward from the collision. "What're you in such a hurry for?" He teased and kissed the top of your head before stepping back. However, he held onto your hand with his free one while you got your bearings.

"I-! Well- i woke up early to be sure i'd see you the moment you stepped through the door. I guess i was too busy with the garden.." You sighed and leaned your forehead onto his chest with a huff before taking notice of a bag in his hand and looking back up at him with a raised brow.

"What's this? You didn't spend a bunch on souvenirs again, did you?" You inquired and received a chuckle in response as he shrugged. "I saw things i thought you'd like. It isn't all for me." he hummed and poked your nose before walking past you to set the bag on the table.

He took off his overcoat, leaving behind the tighter black undershirt and its buttons and accents. He looked out the back door window and hummed, seeing all the flowers in bloom, walking over and stepping outside.

"Beautiful." He stated simply and smiled as you stepped out as well and chuckled, "i stay home to make sure the garden thrives when it should! It better be beautiful!" You huffed and stood behind him, undoing the tie in his hair and running your hand through it.

"They look great. Amazing job.." he chuckled and leaned back slightly the more you brushed your fingers through those pretty long locks.

Then suddenly, from the sunny sky, did rain begin to pour. You leaned to the side to look past Luocha to see rain drops falling onto the garden.

"I..hope that won't drown the flowers." you sighed and scratched the side of your head, Luocha chuckled and crossed his arms as he watched the rain pour and the sun rays create a little rainbow.

"i'm sure it will be just fine.." he hummed and snaked an arm around your waist and smiled as you looked up at him. "Say, why don't we head inside? I'd like to change, perhaps take a rest..it is quite early still." he smiled.

You nodded and kissed his cheek before turning around and heading inside, "I won't deny getting to cuddle." you chuckled and stretched as you glanced at the bag of things he'd brought for you.

"we'll get to that later." he hummed and grabbed your hand and begun pulling you along upstairs, "Well! Aren't you excited?" You teased and hustled in order to keep up with him. He chuckled and shook his head, squeezing your hand before letting go as you two reached your room.

"It's been too long, sleeping in bed alone." he hummed and kissed your forehead before he stepped away to change. You chuckled and put a hand on your hip as he turned around and walked off to change.

"Fair enough.." you muttered and flopped onto the bed and stretched, the rain outside was starting to fade sadly, since sun showers didn't really last very long. But it was enough to sooth you as you waited for the blonde man to finish changing.

You stared at the ceiling and yawned before rolling over and stretching out with a sigh, "Hurry up!" you Hollard and closed your eyes..only to let out a yelp as said man tossed himself onto the bed, and on top of you.

"You called?" he hummed and kissed the back of your head with a chuckle as you groaned and tried to roll over to push him off. He moved off and snaked his arms around you and pulled you close, regardless of if you tried to be stubborn.

He smiled down at you and brushed hair out of your face and kissed your forehead, "I'm glad you're comfortable." he hummed and brushed his hand through your hair. You nodded and moved his hand to hold your face, smiling back at him.

"I was comfortable until you tossed yourself onto me like i was the mattress." you chuckled and kissed his palm before letting go and leaning back. "Well i'm certain you would be just as comfortable." he smiled and tilted his head, "I don't think so.."

He smiled and pinched your cheek, "I'm kidding." He hummed and bit back a yawn and sighed. You rolled your eyes and closed your eyes, nestling yourself comfortably in his arms and yawning.

"I love you." he hummed, leaning back slightly in order to see your face. You opened an eye and peeked at him with a smile, "I love you too." you hummed and closed your eyes again and pulled him close.

His smile softened and he rubbed the back of your head right up until the two of you fell right to sleep.
