Around the time Tanjiro was asleep on the train..

Tokyo, Japan

Shinobu's pov:

I was walking through the city with my adoptive father to see a performance from a Biwa player named Nakime.

Shinobu: "I'm sad that mom couldn't come with us." I told my father.

Samu: "She's still in mourning over Kanae even though it's been four years since she has been gone." He said while looking down.

Shinobu: "I remember when mom used to sing me and Nee-san to sleep, especially after the deaths of our biological parents and you as well as Gyomei-san killed the demon responsible." I said as I fondly remember the rhyme.

Shinobu: "'Hush my little butterflies and don't you cry. Embrace the flames of love and fly past the shadows of the past, but don't let them pry. Only till then, you can reach the heavens." I sang a shortened version of the lullaby that was sung to me.

Samu: "I remember it being a little longer since she had to sing to you two for about an hour. I especially remember when you met the cat we had and it smacked you with it's paw because you held it by it's front legs." He joked with a slight chuckle which broke my mask as tears fell from my eyes due to missing those days.

Shinobu: "That was the day I developed a fear of animals with fur." I nervously laugh.

Samu: "Yeah. At least you inherited my intelligence while Kanae got your mother's beauty despite us not being related by blood. Also stop picking on Giyu. I know that you love him, but saying that others don't like him would cause him to go off the edge even though he currently ignores it so if you truly love him then be nicer to him." He scolded me as I slightly blushed before we made it to the location. Samu: "We're here a little early since the performance is at twenty three hundred hours and it's currently 22:57." He said while looking at his new watch he got. I also noticed a man with a weird shaped sitting with his head down.

22:59...

As we were waiting, I saw many people show up like an Oiran with a man that had oddly green hair, two ridiculously tall women with black and red hair,a woman with a black hood, a woman with sleeves that were wide with blue hair, a child with long, blonde hair holding onto the red head's gloved hand. I also saw a woman with long, black hair and pale skin walk to the stage with others who had instruments(some were western like trumpets) and papers in their hand as a woman with white hair that would be around the height of Gyomei-san was standing at the stairs to the stage. There were even some politicians that were in the audience.

Twenty minutes later...

The group of musicians including the famous Nakime played a total of seven songs that were more beautiful and unique than the last.

Nakime: "For our last piece, we will be playing 'The Song of the World.'" The woman announced as I noticed the Oiran looking at me as if she recognized me. The group of musicians played the song that felt so holy, peaceful, structured and beautiful with the Biwa player's notes yet chaotic, loud and interrupting that overlapped the Biwa to where it sounded like two songs fighting each other till it finally stops. Most of the audience including me and father applauded the band's performance. As we were doing so, I noticed one of the politicians approaching the hooded man before the man grabbed him by the shoulder while the other hand was elsewhere and placed him on the chair.

The hooded man: "Приятно работать с вами." He said in a language I couldn't translate before walking away as I felt something wrong happened, so I went up to the politician and saw blood dripping onto the floor. I moved the politician's head up to see that his throat was slashed from one side to the next cleanly, meaning that he will die within a minute due to blood loss.
