Naruto # JOURNEY BEYOND LOVE

The Dark Night

Chapter 1:

The wolf's howling was heard in the distant passage of the lower hideout. It seemed like the place rarely witnessed any ray of sun. The black figure was approaching the window where Naruto was mesmerized in his glass of champagne. He knew His best friend and partner in crime had just arrived from another dirty mission of theirs. Putting the glass on the table, with winds blowing violently caressing his torn jacket, Naruto welcomed Sasuke with the open heart and was proud of his best friend's bravery. The politics of their dirty game had just begun. Sasuke in his deep husky voice, leaning towards the wall besides the table reported to Naruto that his operation was successful.

"Naruto I have killed the girl and captured the lover, so what do you think we should do with him?"

The men in blue uniform approached with a meek boy in shorts, terror visible in his eyes , caught him by the arms and threw him before the two notorious legends.. his demeanor showed that his heart felt the presence of the hell and the devil. He apologized for the mistake he wasn't even aware of him committing. His instinct was to run away as far as possible to his heart's safety.

"Please forgive me , I won't be a threat I promise,"he cried out with apparent tears.

Naruto ordered the blue men to put him into the cell below the hideout. He was dragged and out of sight in a few seconds.

"Wasn't that a little harsh on the poor guy Naruto." Sasuke maintained a poised voice as if already aware of the outcome.

"Don't forget our goal due to some petty sympathy, sasuke". Naruto reprimanded giving a serious message to his friend to attend the matters at hand with a deliberate gravity.

"I remember what our master taught us very keenly Naruto. Don't forget I'm smarter than you are, as it has always been the case". Sasuke replied with a gush of anger at Naruto's reproaching attitude.

Naruto sat on the creaking chair in front of the table and eyed Sasuke. "Being smart doesn't make you a good player sasuke, you have to learn a lot , learn about love propogting love, to devote yourself to our only mission.. and that is to create the world of true love. You have to change your old definitions of love,"
he leaned across the table towards Sasuke and pressed the undesirable nerve of his.." You still aren't over that haruno girl, are you?".

Sasuke bursted at the mention of Sakura. It was as if his old injuries were poked into.
He couldn't stop himself from grabbing Naruto's torn coller and yelled at him.

"You do not have to bring my past up again and again. I have already gained enough insights on love from our master. I don't need a punk like you to teach me.. don't even utter her name again or else you'll pay...."

A sudden intrusion broke their spiced fight. The blue haired lady whom sasuke claimed to kill was at the gates of the hideout yelling for her lover who was captured by Naruto's uniform men. It was Guren.

"Why would you do this to us, we didn't even wrong you , please let him go.. let us live ..
We love eachother". She beseeched.

Naruto and sasuke were out at the place of this commotion witnessing Guren being held by the blue men.
Sasuke ordered to let her come in and asked the blue men to get lost. They waited for Naruto's response but were too scared to wait looking into sasuke's red bloodthirsty eyes. They were forced to rush out.

Guren was standing across the main door and the table. Naruto tip toed towards her. She was ready to fight if the need be even if it meant a certain defeat infront of this pair of infamous warriors. Known for manhandling women. It was quite for a long while before Naruto spoke to sasuke about her being dead as a farce.

Sasuke admired Guren's courage and before bothering to give any explanations to Naruto, asked Guren what she meant by the word and emotion "Love."

"It's something you jerks would never understand in this lifetime " was her reply leaning against the door trying to make her escape to her lover in the unknown cell.

"Misunderstood is the world Guren, for we are working for the exact same cause. To make people understand love". Sasuke gave his insights setting his sword right around his open shirt.

Guren was disgusted at the lost cause and the height of insanity she was witnessing, at least she expected some sensibility from Naruto if not Sasuke. They almost literally killed her and jailed her lover for absolutely nothing.

"And how's that suppose to happen?" She asked sternly, exhausted at the possibility of multiple meanings of the situation. She sat down on her knees with a kunai in her hand in defence.

Naruto walked towards her and bent over, scaring her, he held her chin in his finger and a thumb and stated the reasons for their 'divine actions'.

"The way you people in this world love is the major problem itself. You view it from a very narrow approach of intense desire and passion. When on the contrary love is achieved truly only by dominance. Nothing is perfect in the fashion to be desired. The true love exists only in the form of domination, anything else leads to hatred confusion and pain. The sooner world understands this reality of love the more peaceful this world will become". We will create such a world together".

Guren was looking into his deep ocean blue eyes and felt the chill of his words just spoken. Naruto lowered his gaze turned around in the opposite direction and asked for her support.
...Tell me do you wanna join us on this mission?"

"You both are pathetic" she growled with the uncontainable anger.

"Well then, those who are unwilling to follow this path are useless and a burden to us. Sasuke do you wish to complete your unfinished buisness?"

The sword clinged from its sheath on sasuke's waist. He approached guren putting the blade on her side neck. She walked backwards and closed her eyes remembering her lover.
