Tw : Suicide and death

Donna stood in front of Travis, her eyes blazing with anger. "Travis, you've hurt Taylor enough. Remember, she's in as much pain as you are, but she still wanted to help you. You didn't do right by her."

Travis looked down, guilt gnawing at him. "Mom, I just can't forget what happened."

"Your hate for her is blinding you to the truth," Donna continued, her voice softer now. "Taylor didn't betray you. Betty did. She's as much a victim as you are. She's trying to keep it together, but it's not easy. You need to apologize to her, Travis."

Travis thought for a moment, Donna's words sinking in. He realized he had been wrong. "You're right, Mom. I've been unfair to her."

Donna handed him a piece of paper with Taylor's address on it. "Go to her. Make it right."

Travis nodded, taking the paper from her. He drove to Taylor's place, feeling a mix of guilt and determination. When he arrived, he noticed the front door was slightly ajar. He frowned, pushing it open further. "Taylor?" he called out, his voice echoing in the silent house.

There was no response. He stepped inside, glancing around. The house was eerily quiet. "Taylor, are you here?"

As he moved through the hallway, he caught sight of something red on the kitchen floor. His heart sank as he hurried towards it. A pool of blood glistened under the harsh kitchen light. "Oh my God," he whispered, his eyes widening in horror.

He followed the trail, his worst fears confirmed when he saw Taylor lying on the floor, unconscious and bleeding profusely from her wrist. "Taylor!" he shouted, rushing to her side.

He knelt down, his hands trembling as he pressed his jacket against her wound to stem the bleeding. "Taylor, please, wake up," he pleaded, his voice cracking. "I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry."

Taylor didn't respond, her face pale. Travis's mind raced as he pulled out his phone, dialing 911. "I need an ambulance, now!" he shouted into the phone, giving them the address.

He stayed with Taylor, holding her tightly. "You're going to be okay," he whispered, tears streaming down his face. "I'm here now. I won't let anything happen to you."

The minutes felt like hours until he heard the sirens approaching. Paramedics rushed in, taking over from Travis as they worked to stabilize her and get her to the hospital. Travis followed them, his heart pounding with fear and regret.

At the hospital, he paced the waiting room, unable to sit still. Donna arrived shortly after, her face a mask of worry. "Travis, what happened?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"She... she cut herself," Travis said, his voice choked with emotion. "I found her in the kitchen. There was so much blood, Mom. I didn't know what to do."

Donna hugged him tightly. "She's strong, Travis. She'll make it through this. And you need to be there for her now, more than ever."

Hours later, a doctor approached Donna and Travis, his face grim. "Mrs. Kelce, I'm afraid we couldn't save the baby, but we're doing everything we can to save Taylor. She lost a lot of blood. Her condition is very critical right now, but we're still trying."

Donna's eyes widened in shock. "Baby? Taylor was pregnant?" she asked, her voice trembling.

The nurse nodded. "Yes, she was about six to eight weeks along."

Travis felt a wave of guilt crash over him. Memories of every harsh word and cold look he had given Taylor flooded his mind.

"Why are you crying for these losers? Why are you crying for your husband who cheated on you? Don't you have any self-respect?" he remembered shouting at her.

He rushed into the hospital room where Taylor lay, pale and motionless. He dropped to his knees beside her bed, tears streaming down his face. "I'm so sorry, Taylor. I thought you weren't human. I thought you wouldn't get hurt. I thought I was the only victim here."

He clutched her hand, feeling the fragility of her life in his grasp. "See what I've done. I killed your baby. I'm so sorry I couldn't see what I've done to you."

Travis sobbed, his body shaking with the weight of his guilt. "You tried to help me. You tried to make things right, and I just pushed you away."

"Here," he remembered, handing her the check. "Have this until I give the remaining amount. I will work hard and pay it back and leave as soon as possible. Every second I see your face, I feel disgust and anger, so don't smile around me."

"I was so blinded by my own pain," he whispered to her unconscious form. "I didn't see yours."

Donna stood at the doorway, tears in her eyes as she watched her son break down. She stepped into the room, placing a comforting hand on Travis's shoulder. "She's strong, Travis. She'll make it through this."

Travis looked up at his mother, his eyes red and swollen. "I was so cruel to her, Mom. I didn't realize..."

Donna nodded, her own heart aching. "She needs you now. More than ever. You have to be strong for her."

The minutes dragged by as Travis remained by Taylor's side, replaying every moment of their interactions in his mind.

"Why did it have to be like this?" he remembered her whispering when they had first started to reconcile. "I don't know," he had replied, his own voice choked with emotion. "But I'm going to make it right. I'll help you through this, Taylor. We'll get through this together."

He held her hand tightly, as if his grip could pull her back from the brink. "Please, Taylor," he whispered, his voice breaking. "Come back to us. I need you to come back."

The doctor re-entered the room, his expression serious but not without hope. "We've stabilized her for now. She's still critical, but she's a fighter."

Travis nodded, his resolve strengthening. "Thank you, doctor."

As the doctor left, Donna squeezed Travis's shoulder again. "She'll pull through this, Travis. And when she does, you'll have the chance to make things right."

Travis looked at his mother, his eyes filled with determination. "I will, Mom. I promise."

He turned back to Taylor, his heart heavy but filled with a new sense of purpose. "I'm here, Taylor," he whispered. "And I'm not going anywhere"
