Taylor sat in her bedroom, surrounded by the remnants of her shattered life. Every corner of the house reminded her of Joe and the deceit that had unraveled everything she held dear. She couldn't take it anymore. Turning to Andrea, who was seated beside her, she said, "Mom, I can't do this any longer. This house, everything in it... it haunts me."

Andrea looked at her daughter with concern. "What are you saying, Taylor?"

"I want to quit," Taylor replied, her voice breaking. "I want to quit everything. The fight to save this house, Joe's business... all of it. Let's give this house and the office to Joe's partner. I don't want this anymore."

Andrea, understanding the depth of her daughter's pain, nodded. "If that's what you need to do to heal, then we'll do it. Your well-being is more important than any material possession."

Tears streamed down Taylor's face as she embraced her mother. "Thank you, Mom. I just want to leave this all behind."

Meanwhile, Travis was determined to make amends. He had spent the night tormented by guilt, and he knew he needed to apologize to Taylor. With a bouquet in hand, he rushed to the hospital, only to find that Taylor had already been discharged. Panicked, he drove to her house, but it was locked and deserted. Confusion and frustration gnawed at him.

His phone rang. It was a call from the office. "Mr. Kelce, Ms. Swift is quitting. She's here to say goodbye to everyone. The office will now be in Joe's partner's control, and it's your choice whether you'd like to continue or not. But please, don't do anything to hurt her, at least today."

The call ended abruptly, leaving Travis in shock. "No, she can't leave. She's strong. She can't quit halfway," he muttered to himself, a surge of determination rising within him. "I will not let her quit. I will make her face the problem and win it. No, Taylor, you can't leave this now."

With newfound resolve, Travis raced to the office, praying he would get there in time. As he burst through the office doors, he saw Taylor standing at the front, addressing the staff one last time.

"I want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication," Taylor said, her voice trembling. "But I've decided to step down. This chapter of my life needs to end. I can't carry this burden any longer."

Travis pushed through the crowd, his heart pounding. He rushed through the office, desperate to find Taylor before she left for good. Bursting into the conference room, he saw her standing at the front, addressing the staff one last time.

"Taylor, wait!" he called out, his voice urgent.

Taylor remained silent, her back turned to him, refusing to engage. She took a deep breath and faced the staff. "I want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication over these years. Your support has meant the world to me."

Travis tried again, "Taylor, please, just listen."

But she continued to ignore him, her face devoid of emotion, her voice flat. "I've decided to step down. This chapter of my life needs to end. I can't carry this burden any longer."

The room was heavy with a mix of sadness and respect. One of the staff members, trying to lighten the mood, suggested, "How about we have a pizza party for lunch to send Taylor off properly?"

Taylor nodded, her movements mechanical. "Sure, a pizza party sounds fine. I'll stay until lunch."

Travis's heart sank. He knew he had a limited time to convince her not to quit.
