WARNING: GROSS SCENES (AGAIN)

Jinn continued throwing up, and he started to throw up so much to the point he wasn't breathing enough. We all froze in fear, not knowing what to do.

Everyone except me. I saw Jinn reach his left hand out and weakly point to his backpack. I rushed over and threw the backpack over to him. He opened the middle compartment of his backpack and pulled out a syringe containing an unknown fluid inside. He proceeded to uncap the syringe and attach a needle to the end. After doing so, he plunged the needle deep into his thigh and threw the empty syringe aside.

He did the same with another syringe and injected it into the other thigh. After that, he faced forward and sat up straight. His vomiting turned into a violent cough, where blood was still coming out. However, it was far better than throwing up large quantities at a time.

We all rushed in to help. Although we didn't know what to do, we tried what we thought was best.

"Lightning, call the nearest hospital," I ordered.

"There's no cell service out here. I can't make a call in the middle of the fucking desert."

Tree rushed over with a water bottle from his bag and placed it beside Jinn. Jinn's cough slowly went away, and the blood coming from his mouth turned into just some dripping.

By now, Jinn regained the strength to stand up. Pen and Bottle helped him to his feet, and he walked over to his camel and jumped on. We did the same.

Jinn didn't talk, but he gave a hand signal to follow him. As he rode his camel ahead, I could see blood dripping from his mouth and his veins turning a deep blue. He looked as if he was going to die if he didn't get treatment soon.

After a bit of riding through the desert, we eventually stumbled across the same town we had previously gone to. Jinn knew that there was a healthcare clinic here, and he rode his camel through the city until he got to the designated building.

Because Jinn had taught us so well to park our camels and get used to riding them, Liy led the camels outside the city and gave them a shady spot while everyone else helped Jinn.

I sprinted inside the hospital, where a small lady was waiting behind the counter. She looked rather terrified, seeing me dash into the room so quickly.

"We have an emergency," I solemnly stated to her.

"What's the issue?" The woman, now focused, asked.

"I have a friend who's vomiting up blood, has bloodshot eyes, and can barely walk. We need urgent help asap."

"Got it. I'll send someone over this instant," She nodded.

The woman picked up a walkie-talkie and spoke into the speaker.

"Yes, we're going to need an emergency team on the scene right now. We have a client suffering from toxic gas inhalation, and we're going to also need the right treatments for the patient."

Surprisingly, the woman knew that Jinn was poisoned by toxic gas just because of the symptoms I had told her.

Jinn walked in with the help of Pen and Bottle while the others carried our belongings inside. We were quickly met with an emergency team, who took Jinn out on a stretcher and wheeled him to the nearest room.

"Wait here," One of the workers instructed us.

We waited in the waiting room. We could hear the workers operating on Jinn, trying their best to clear the poison from his lungs and trying to reverse the effects of the toxic gas.

The waiting room was as silent as a mouse. It was so silent to the point where you could hear a pin drop on the floor. We all just stared at each other with a guilty expression. However, Lightning looked the most guilty out of all of us.
