I walked through my cave and grabbed the necessary components off the long line of shelves. It was about time that my plan would actually work. I was tired of making such foolish plans, that I was even dissatisfied with my own doing. It didn't help that my henchmen weren't the most helpful... at all...

I mixed two of the chemicals in the palm of my hand, creating the chemical reaction I had hoped for. The gas created was enough to make even the largest organisms pass out. To make this work, Jinn had to be completely knocked out, which was the purpose of this chemical.

The walk back to Jinn's cage was rather tiresome since I had developed a habit of sitting around lately. However, that didn't matter. Jinn stared at me from outside the cage as I held the chemicals in my hand. I gave him a satisfied grin, showing my amusement.

"What do you think you're doing with that?" Jinn asked.

"You'll see in just a moment... well... see's kind of a stretch..." I chuckled.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jinn raised an eyebrow.

"Be patient. You'll see for yourself."

I walked on top of Jinn's cage and dumped the chemicals inside the cage. The bright red chemical's vapors started to flow through the entire cage and eventually covered the entire cage in a thick, poisonous fog. I laughed in amusement as I heard Jinn's coughing fit, which quickly started to die out.

The fog drifted away, leaving Jinn lying on the ground motionless. Now, I could do what I had always wanted to do for so long.

"Henchmen!" I called as I clapped my hands, signaling for their arrival.

"Yes, boss?" A couple of my henchmen came running over.

"Deliver him to the designated room."

"On it," My henchmen picked Jinn's body up and started carrying him over to where I had wanted him to go.

"So, I'm guessing your plan was a success?" One of my henchmen asked as we walked down the long corridor.

"Not yet. It will be once we do the ritual."

"That sounds reasonable, but you mentioned that Jinn's fearless. What if this backfires on you?"

"Quit your worrying. This ritual is foolproof. I've existed before time was a thing, and I've done the ritual on countless different entities. Every time, the ritual has worked flawlessly."

"Okay... I'm just warning you!" The henchman scratched his head.

After the tiresome walk over to the room at the end of the hall, I ordered the henchmen to drop Jinn where I wanted him. I shooed my henchmen away with a smile as I planned for what would happen next.

I picked Jinn up and dragged him to the middle of the room. His lifeless body lay on the cold stone, motionless. However, his body was still warm and I felt a heartbeat. Good. I didn't want to kill him just yet, as I had a far better and more practical use for him that would aid in my favor.

"Okay... time to start," I rubbed my hands together, awaiting the ritual.

I drew a pentagram around the lifeless Jinn. His body lay in the center of the shape. I then followed up by making a circle of another solution that I had previously prepared for this moment and this moment only. Finally, I placed some candles in the corners of the room and sat myself next to the entrance to the room.

Now, I had to finish the ritual off. I put my hands out and started saying the ritual.
