Pen couldn't help but cry as he saw Jinn's life slip away as the blood trickled down his throat. Pen stared at Jinn's body as the entity just laughed at us.

"Nice Job, Pen. I hated him anyway," The entity smiled.

Pen was frozen in shock as to what he had just done. Remote ran over to comfort him and try to snap him out of it.

"Pen, we're in danger. We'll talk later, but we need to survive," Remote urgently took Pen by the hand and pulled him closer to the wall away from the entity.

Now, all of our attention was focused on the entity, which still had Lightning in its grasp. The entity laughed at Lightning as it picked him up and coiled its arm around his body.

"Well, I know what you are!" The entity mocked Lightning.

"A liar..."

The entity let out one final cackle as it opened its jaws and moved closer to Lightning, about to eat him alive in front of us.

Or so we thought. The entity grunted as it felt a stone hit it in the face. It closed its mouth immediately and looked over to where the hell the stone came from. As the entity panned its head over to where the rock was thrown, it saw who threw it. Pen now stood on a faraway rock and was throwing rocks at the face of the entity.

PERSPECTIVE SWITCH: PEN

"HEY FUCKFACE!" I taunted.

The monster's eyes flashed red as it turned its attention to me. It threw Lightning against the rocky walls of the cave. I could hear the impact of his landing as he lay on the floor, holding his wrist.

"You wanted to play a game with me, huh? Wanna play a game now? It's called truth or dare! Here's a truth! You're a fucking bitch! That's right. Let's dance! Fight me motherfu-" I was cut off by the entity's eyes turning orange as I felt myself go limp.

PERSPECTIVE SWITCH: THIRD PERSON NARRATOR

Tree sat on the side, watching Pen as he went limp, seemingly hypnotized into a state where he couldn't control himself by the orange eyes of the entity. Tree tried his best to not stare at the lights. The sheer brightness of the entity's eyes was blinding him as he covered one of his eyes, trying not to stare or else he'd also fall victim to the hypnotization process the entity caused.

Now feeling braver, Tree looked down at the spear that Remote had given him earlier. He observed the sharpened tip of the spear and thought to himself.

"This thing kills monsters if you believe it does. Remember I fucked up its eye that one time?" Tree quoted Remote's words, which made him believe in himself more than ever.

"If you believe it does..."

"If you believe it does..."

"If you believe it does..."

Tree felt the rush of adrenaline course through his veins as he walked out of his seemingly out-of-the-way hiding spot, now facing the entity head-on. The entity didn't notice Tree walk closer with the spear, as it was fixated on killing Pen right then.

With no other choice, Tree picked up the spear with determination in his eyes.

"EAT STEEL MOTHER FUCKER!" Tree ran up and threw the fencepost at the entity, trying to hit it in the eyes.

The sharpened fencepost flew through the air with incredible speed, as Tree's adrenaline rush was far too much for him to even barely handle. The fencepost hit the right target and struck the entity's left eye.

The entity cried out in pain and instantly stopped hypnotizing Pen. Pen fell on his back, relieved to be alive and still conscious. The entity continued screaming in pain as the spear pierced its eye. Because it couldn't see, the entity fell backward on a sharp stone in the rocks, impaling itself through the back as it fell.
