The pre-wedding jitters gnawed at Somya's insides. The night before the engagement, she found herself drawn to the cool serenity of the rooftop terrace.  The gentle hum of the city below acted as a counterpoint to the nervous symphony playing within her.

Suddenly, a familiar voice broke the silence. "Di, what are you doing out here so late?" It was Malang, his concern evident in his voice.

Somya turned to face him, a wistful smile gracing her lips. "Just… thinking," she admitted. "Everything feels a little surreal, you know? Like I'm about to step into a whole new chapter."

Malang settled down beside her, his presence a comforting anchor in the sea of her anxieties. "Don't worry, Di," he said, his voice reassuring. "It'll be amazing. You deserve all the happiness in the world."

Somya reached out and squeezed his hand. "Thanks, Malang. You're the best brother a girl could ask for."

Mr. Agarwal, Somya's father, beamed with pride as he greeted each arrival. Mrs. Agarwal, a whirlwind of elegance, flitted between social circles, ensuring every detail was perfect.

Sanjana, caught up in the joyous whirlwind, received Neel's introduction with a warm smile.

"Neel Oberoi, a pleasure to meet you," he said, extending a hand. "Sanjana, Veer's wife, I presume?"

Sanjana's smile widened. "Indeed. Welcome to the festivities. Veer has spoken highly of you."

They launched into a conversation, Neel's intelligence and wit shining through. Sanjana, unaware of the hidden connection he shared with Malang, found herself enjoying their interaction.

Meanwhile, the ceremony commenced. Somya, radiant in a breathtaking gown, exchanged rings with her fiancé. As the crowd erupted in cheers, a hush fell over the room. A spotlight focused on the piano, where Malang stood poised.
