Neel whirled around, startled, as the name left Malang's lips. The moonlight bathed Malang's face in an ethereal glow, momentarily erasing the shadows of anger that had clung to him all day. Neel's own heart hammered against his ribs - a mix of hope, trepidation, and a yearning for reconciliation.

"Malang," he echoed, his voice husky with emotion. Silence stretched between them, thick with unspoken words and the weight of the past. Finally, Neel broke the tension.

"I... I wanted to apologize," he said, his voice sincere. "For everything. For being a part of Rihana's plan, for not being honest with you, for letting you disappear without explanation. I was a coward, and I deeply regret the pain I caused you."

Malang listened, his gaze fixed on the ground as Neel poured out his heart. A part of him wanted to lash out, to unleash the torrent of anger and hurt that had festered within him for years. But another part, the part that remembered their shared moments under the same sky, the part that resonated with Neel's remorse, held him back.

He took a deep breath, finally meeting Neel's eyes. "Apology accepted," he said, his voice rough with emotion. "But that doesn't erase what happened."

Neel flinched at the harsh truth in Malang's words. He understood. Trust, once broken, took time and effort to rebuild.

"I know," Neel admitted, his head hanging low. "I don't expect your forgiveness right away. But all I ask is the chance to explain, to show you the truth about what happened."

Malang remained silent for a long moment, weighing his options. Could he trust Neel's words? Could he give him the chance to explain, to bridge the chasm that had grown between them?

He looked up at the star-studded sky, a silent plea for guidance. The memory of Sanjana's words flickered in his mind - "holding onto anger will only hurt you in the long run."

With a heavy sigh, he finally spoke. "Alright, Neel," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "Tell me your story. Let's hear your side."

A flicker of relief washed over Neel's face. This wasn't a complete forgiveness, but it was a start.

He drew in a deep breath, ready to finally unburden himself, to explain the events that led to the situation

Neel began to speak, his voice filled with a mix of regret and hope.

Neel explained that he tried to stop rihana but she insisted that she is only doing for fun not trying your feelings and in the end she will tell and apologize you, i don't know about the money and other peoples including.......i told her that i will not be a part of this....but she emotionally made me convince.....i had to give in......she is my only little sister..... trust me when i say....i never wanted to humiliate you malang i never..... I'm sorry for everything....i never intended to it and hurt the one person i truly cared about.

As the moon cast its silvery light on the garden, .

Malang listened intently, his initial anger slowly giving way to a newfound understanding. As Neel spoke, the missing pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place. He saw the situation from Neel's perspective, his own actions in a new light.

The night wore on, filled with confessions and revelations. By the time the first rays of dawn painted the sky with streaks of pink and orange, a sense of catharsis had settled over them.

They didn't have all the answers, and the path to true forgiveness wouldn't be easy. But for the first time in years, they were no longer strangers bound by a web of lies and hurt. They were two young men, stripped bare by their honesty, with a fragile bridge of understanding connecting them.

As the sun peeked over the horizon, bathing the garden in a golden light, Neel turned to Malang, a hopeful smile gracing his lips.

"I know I don't deserve it," he said, "but... can we start over?"

Malang returned the smile, a flicker of warmth replacing the coldness that had resided in his eyes for so long. "Maybe," he said, his voice filled with a newfound optimism. "Maybe we can."

The day of departure arrived, tinged with a bittersweet sadness. The Oberoi family, who had come as guests, were leaving as extended family. The brief time spent together had fostered a sense of connection that transcended their initial reservations.

Somya, ever the drama queen, clung to Mrs. Oberoi in a tearful embrace. The shopping expedition had been a whirlwind of laughter and shared secrets, and Somya was genuinely grateful for Mrs. Oberoi's guidance and expertise.

"Come back soon, aunty!" Somya pleaded, her voice thick with emotion. Mrs. Oberoi, touched by Somya's warmth, promised to be her first guest at the wedding.

Mr. Oberoi shared a warm handshake with Mr. Agarwal, offering his blessings to Veer and Sanjana. He then turned to Malang, his hand gently resting on the young man's head in a gesture of paternal affection.

Neel, too, said his goodbyes. He touched the feet of Mr. and Mrs. Agarwal, seeking their blessings. Mr. Agarwal, his initial reservations replaced by a newfound appreciation for Neel's sincerity, surprised him with a hug.

"Do come and visit again, beta," Mr. Agarwal said, his voice gruff but his eyes warm.

Neel, his heart swelling with gratitude, readily agreed. He then shook hands with Veer, a newfound camaraderie replacing their past rivalry.

Sanjana received a friendly hug from Neel, a silent promise of continued friendship hanging in the air. "Don't forget, you promised to help with the wedding arrangements," she teased.

Neel chuckled. "Promise," he replied, his smile genuine.

Somya chimed in, "You heard bhabi, right? We need your help!"

Neel playfully patted her head, treating her like a younger sister. His gaze then met Malang's, and a silent conversation passed between them. Malang's eyes brimmed with unshed tears, a mixture of sadness and a flicker of hope.

Neel leaned in close, his voice barely a whisper. "Mahi, I'll call you as soon as I reach. Promise."

Malang's whispered reply, "Can't you stay a little longer?" tugged at Neel's heartstrings. But with a gentle pat on Malang's head, a silent reassurance, Neel turned and followed his family towards the waiting car.

As they drove away, everyone stood waving, their figures growing smaller in the rearview mirror. A wave of emotions washed over them - sadness at the parting, hope for the future, and the promise of a new beginning. The seeds of friendship and understanding, sown during this brief encounter, had taken root, waiting to bloom in the days to come.
