Seungmin woke up before Mai the next day, carefully wiggling out from underneath her, trying not to wake the beautiful girl. He wanted to make her some breakfast, knowing she would probably need some painkillers. He quickly went to the kitchen, searching through the fridge. His three roommates were already sitting at the kitchen table, smirking at him.
"Why are you all looking at me like crazy people?" Seungmin asked as he pulled out some eggs and walked over to the stove.
"How was your hook up?" Lee Know asked, amused.
Seungmin sighed. Of course I.N told them. "I didn't hook up with her! She was drunk, and I don't take advantage of that!" he protested.
"Still funny," Jeongin laughed, "She seemed like a talkative person. She's way shyer when she's sober."
"She did talk a lot," Seungmin said, thinking back to the words she said before she fell asleep. His heart started to race immediately, and he began to smile uncontrollably. In that moment, he was glad he was facing the wall as he put the eggs in a hot pan.
"Did she tell you something interesting?" Felix asked, as if he could read minds.
Seungmin quickly shook his head. "Nothing I want to share," he mumbled, still smiling like an idiot.

I woke up and groaned, holding my head. Was this how a hangover felt? I opened my eyes, blinded by the sunlight, and felt around the bed for Seungmin. He wasn't there. Confused, I sat up, instantly regretting it as everything started spinning. I held my head for a moment, then started to look around. I was in his room; this wasn't a dream. I groaned again and let myself fall back into the pillow. I wished it was a dream. I had been so embarrassing, and I just hoped he was already asleep when I practically told him that I was head over heels for him.
The door opened, and Seungmin came in with some water and a plate in his hand. "Oh, I see, Mai is in the building and awake," he joked, sitting down next to me.
"No, Mai isn't in the building. Mai is dead," I answered, pulling the blanket over my head.
Seungmin chuckled. "I made you breakfast," he said, "and I brought some painkillers."
I sat up again, slowly this time, and thankfully took the pill and the water he held out. "I don't know if I can eat," I mumbled, holding my belly, which felt weird.
"You should. Trust me, you'll feel better after," he answered.
I took the plate from him and took a bite of my eggs. I waited a moment, but when the food didn't come back up, I finished the whole plate.
"Feeling better?" Seungmin asked.
I nodded. It felt good having something in my stomach, and my headache slightly improved. "Hey, Seungmin?" I asked, a little embarrassed.
"Yes?" he asked, putting away my plate on his nightstand and grabbing the book next to it.
"Did I say something... I don't know... something stupid yesterday?" I asked.
Seungmin grinned. "You said a lot of stupid things," he answered.
I just wanted to know if he heard my confession, but of course, he had to tease me. "Did I confess my love for Keeho or something?" I tried to joke, but it sounded forced.
He blushed and started to grin. "Keeho?" he laughed, "No. You didn't confess anything different than that you were naked in the shower."
I sighed in relief. He must have already been half asleep. But something about the smile that just wouldn't leave his face while he opened the book and started to read put me off. I just couldn't tell what exactly it was.
