"Ah, you must be Circe." The woman who answers the door says with a wide smile. Her posture is perfect and her stance exudes authority, her appearance is almost noble- fitting of someone belonging to such a respected Wizarding family. "It's lovey to meet you, I'm Euphemia."

Circe gives the woman a polite smile, which is something she rarely uses. "It's nice to meet you. These are my parents, Kieran and Calliope." She replies in a respectful tone.

Euphemia smiles at the two, ushering the family inside. "The kids are all gathered in the back, Circe. I'm sure you'll easily be able to find them thanks to the racket they're creating." The woman tells her, pointing the girl in the right direction.

Circe doesn't have to be told twice as she dashes down the corridor to where her friends should be. Euphemia was right, there seems to chaos erupting. Even from a few doors down she can hear Sirius and James' bickering. "What in Merlin's name are you two doing?" She laughs once she opens the door.

The two of them are playfully wrestling with one another on the ground. "He started it!" They both insist at the same time, pointing an accusing finger at each other.

Lily is sat on the chaise lounge, barely even paying attention to the two bickering brothers. She's nervously clutching her drink in her hand, and from the way she's gulping it down Circe is willing to bet that there is alcohol in it- which is giving her some much needed courage. "Hey Ce."

"Lils." Circe gushes, immediately darting over to her friend's side, stepping over James and Sirius on the ground on her way over. She pulls the ginger into a tight hug and leans into her side when they pull apart. "How did meeting James' parents go?"

The girl winces, recalling the moment. "Not great." She takes another large gulp from her glass. "I fell flat on my face just as I was walking away."

Circe's expression mirrors her friend's upon hearing this. "That isn't too bad." She tries to reassure her friend.

"It's not good either." She slurs back, flinging her arms around in the air.

The brunette snatches the glass from Lily's hand and gives the contents of the cup a sniff. The smell burns her nose and she frowns upon realising just how drunk Lily really is. "Maybe we should stick to water for a little while, huh, Lils." She insists. "I'll go get you a glass."

Circe heads out of the room and chugs the contents of Lily's glass, needing a little liquid courage herself after realising that there's a possibility of meeting Remus' parents tonight when they arrive. She walks into the living room and searches for the kitchen. It seems her timing is impeccable as the door receives a knock just as she looks over at it.

A man opens it this time, who is presumably James' dad, Fleamont. Lo and behold, the Lupin family is revealed to be on the other side. A woman, who looks to be the absolute double of Remus is standing at the front of the little group on the porch. She's tiny, not height wise but rather she's incredibly thin and frail looking. Her skin is a sickly white colour and a weak but kind smile is plastered onto her face.

The man stood dutifully behind her looks rather stern, but there's a softness in his face when he looks at his wife. His build is similar to Remus', although he's a little shorter than his son. He's dressed in an old looking suit, with loose threads sticking out all over. One hand seems to be glued to his wife's shoulder and the other one is holding an expensive looking bottle of wine.

Remus' looks to be itching to get inside the house, he's bouncing up and down excitedly as his parents catch up with Fleamont. His hair is slicked back and he's wearing once of Circe's favourite jumpers, and he looks absolutely incredible.
