Circe and Remus walk to the castle hand in hand, unable to wipe the smiles from their faces.
The brunette can't help but feel an immense amount of relief after everything that's happened. She's been holding in her secret for so long that she had forgotten what it was like to not be carrying it around with her at every waking moment. She had thought that her worries would only increase upon spilling her guys, but that isn't true. Circe trusts Remus unconditionally, and so does he with his own secret. "I'm so happy that you know now." She admits quietly.
Remus grins down at her. "I'm glad you told me." He replies. "Maybe now I can finally return the favour for everything you've done for me by helping you with your visions or something."
She looks at him, somewhat puzzled by his words. "I've never exactly had pure intentions." Circe laughs, squeezing his hand. "I've been trying to get into your pants for months now."
"Shut up." He snorts, lightly elbowing her side. The boy's expression softens as he looks off into the distance. "I've never felt comfortable in my own skin, at least not until you came along. You showed me that I am deserving of love and helped me come to terms with the fact that I'm not broken."
Circe leans her head on his arm, savouring the warmth his touch gives her in the cold Scotland weather. "You've never been broken." She tells him sternly.
"And I know this now, thanks to you." Remus argues, the tips of his ears turning red. He's not a monster, he's just different to everyone else- and for once he's okay with that. Circe is also different and yet she still shines so brightly, she doesn't let her differences hinder her. He admires that quality in her, though to be fair he admires everything about her. "You're like my own personal- I don't know- goddess or something."
She covers her mouth with her free hand, stifling her laugh. "You think too much of me, I'm not a goddess. In fact, I've often been referred to as the devil come to reign terror on the Earth." The brunette grins. "Although- actually- I am apparently descended from a God."
Remus' stares down at her with wide eyes, completely surprised by this new piece of information. He'd rather mistakenly believed that the shocking reveals were over for the day, but apparently not. "You're what?" He screeches.
"I was visited by this woman, my ancestor, in my dreams- it was like this whole thing after my grandma revealed that she was a squib." Circe babbles, quickly trying to catch him up on the whole fiasco during the holidays. "Anyway, she was the first oracle of Delphi and the daughter of Apollo."
The boy doesn't quite know how to absorb all of this information, he's still coming to terms with her being a seer and now he gets another bomb dropped on him. He blinks, trying to ignore the oncoming headache. "Does that mean I have to call you 'your majesty' now or 'your holiness' or something?" Remus teases.
"Whilst I do rather like the idea of being referred to as 'your majesty', I think I'm going to have to say no." Circe chuckles, shoving him.
"It's too late. I'm already succumbing to your great power." Remus clutches his chest and lowers himself down onto one knee and presses his lips on the back of her hand. "I lower myself before you, your holiness."
The brunette rolls her eyes, trying to pull him back to his feet. "Get up, you dick, people are going to think you're proposing if they see us." The girl rips her hand out of his and quickens her pace towards the castle.
Remus falls into step with her easily, not even breaking a sweat as his long legs carry him up the hill. "Whatever should I do?" He wipes a nonexistent tear from his eye. "Her holiness has forsaken me!"
"Shut up and give me your hole." Circe tells him, grabbing his hand once more.
He snaps out of his little act and looks at her in horror. "I beg your pardon?"
