"Fuck!" Circe screams, kicking the desk with all of her might. The cauldron containing her and Lily's latest attempt at the wolfsbane potion topples to the ground and shatters against the stone floor.

The ginger stares at the girl with wide eyes as she continues to through a tantrum, kicking and shoving everything in sight as a way of relieving her rage. They've tried over thirteen different methods ever since Lily had come on board with the plan and they still aren't any closer.

Circe hasn't even gotten any more ingredients when she's with Damocles and it's annoying her to no end. She's resorted to taking naps during lunch, trying to get even one more hint, but all she's been successful at doing is giving herself more nightmare fuel. Even when she wakes up in the middle of the night and spews her guts out she goes back to sleep- only to repeat the process.

She isn't getting anywhere, and she's just gotten Remus' hopes up all for nothing. Circe knows that he'll tell her that it's no big deal, but she also knows that he will be severely disappointed. He's done so much for her and she's failing him when it really matters.

Lily places a comforting hand on the brunette's shoulder as she continues to seethe in anger. "It's okay, Ce." She reassures the girl in an attempt to calm her down. "We'll get it eventually, but we should take the rest of the day off."

Circe runs her hand down her face exasperatedly, feeling completely incompetent. The only reason she still has these stupid visions is because they are supposed to help her and they are being a fat lot of good right now. "Yeah, it's probably for the best." She sighs, looking at the shattered cauldron. "I'll ask my mum to send me a new one soon."

"Why don't we head down to the hall, dinner will be being served soon anyway." Lily suggests, frowning when she realises just how exhausted her friend looks. Her face is just as hollow looking as it was that time she was in the hospital wing and she looks like death.

The seer shakes her head. "You, uh. You head down first." Circe tells the girl, pulling out a full carton of cigarettes from her cloak pocket and shoving one into her mouth. She lights up the end with her pinky finger and swings open one of the large windows, leaning precariously on the ledge. Her whole body relaxes as she exhales the mouthful of smoke.

Lily chuckles and moves to stand next to her. "Give me one and then we'll both head down together." She tells the girl firmly, leaving no room for argument. Circe looks like a bag of bones, she really needs to get some food in her.

"Perfect Lily Evans smokes, huh?" Circe turns to her with a teasing grin. They've been friends for months now and she's never once smelt smoke coming off her or pick up a single cigarette. "Who would have thought?"

The ginger gives her a light shove on the arm. "Shut up, I only do it when I'm stressed." She insists, taking a long, deep drag.

Circe snickers. "Are you trying to imply that I stress you out?" Giving the girl a faux offended look.

Whilst that is slightly true, especially after the little fit she had just thrown over them failing again, but she would never admit that. "No, I meant the bloody potion."

"I can't relate to that in the slightest." Circe jokes, concentrating on the horizon as she takes another puff. "I'm as cool as a cucumber under pressure." She's had anger issues for as long as she's been getting visions, although she had almost forgotten due to how happy she has been with Remus recently. Who could ever be in a foul mood when they get to see his pretty face everyday?

Lily snorts at her words. "Sure you are." She teases.

Circe knows that she's been a little snippy lately. The combination of lack of sleep, throwing up over four times a day, hanging out with Belby everyday and the potion being nowhere near to being completed. It's sending her insane and she knows that she's heading for a major meltdown. That little tantrum if only the beginning if nothing lets.
