"You demanded a trial by combat." Lysa countered disinterested.

"Now I demand a champion. I have that right, same as you." Tyrion agreed.

"My Lady, I would gladly fight the Imp's champion for you." Vardis declared.

"I wouldn't be too glad, ser. I name my brother, Jaime Lannister." Tyrion declared.

"The Kingslayer is hundreds of miles from here." Lysa drawled.

"Send a raven for him, I'm happy to wait." Tyrion assured calmly.

"The trial will be today." Lysa commanded.

"Do I have a volunteer?" Tyrion countered hopefully.

"Zaria!" Tywin held her, scowling over her shoulder at jaime "you bring your pregnant wife and children to a war camp? You blasted idiot-"

"We are going to Harrenhal." Jaime corrected. "Just wanted to stop and rest here for a bit."

"How are you feeling?" Tywin questioned.

"I'm fine," Zaria assured. She glanced to her boys as they picked at their food. "Ty..." he ran a hand over her arms as a messenger peered in handing off a scroll to jaime. He read it over.

"What?" Tywin demanded.

''Gregor Clegane, the mountain will ride within a fortnight or be branded an enemy of the crown,' Jaime said 'Ned stark... brave man terrible judgment.'

'Attacking him was stupid,' Tywin countered. 'Lannister's don't act like fools' he went on as he gutted the beast in front of him. 'You're going to say something clever?' Tywin questioned his son, 'go on say something clever.'

'Catelyn Stark took my brother.'

'Why is he still alive?' Tywin asked.

'Tyrion?'

'Ned stark.' Tywin corrected

'One of our men interfered speared him through the leg before I could finish him,' Jaime informed him.

''Why is he still alive?' he questioned again

'It wouldn't have been clean.' Jaime told him.

"And it is wrong to murder." Zaria added looking between them.

"He murdered your father, can you honestly say a part of you cares if he dies?" Tywin countered.

"I didnt think I wanted my husband to kill him. 15 years ago sure." Zaria added. "But he has a family, he is someone elses father, someone elses world." Zaria reminded them.

'You two spend too much time worrying about what other people think of you.' Tywin muttered. "Soft hearts, Zaria."

"I have a heart, sorry." Zaria agreed moving to the table and pouring herself something to drink, tywin watched her every move.

''I could care less what anyone else thinks of me.' Jaime assured him

'No that's what you want people to think,' Tywin told him.

'That's the truth' Jaime protested as Zaria scoffed. "It is?"

"You can lie to me all you like honey, I know the truth." Zaria assured. "But if it makes you feel better." SHe shrugged.

''When you hear them whispering king slayer behind your back, that doesn't bother you?' Tywin questioned

'Of course it bothers me,' Jaime told him moving to zaria his hands rubbing into her shoulders, she smiled back at him.
