"For one day, all the beasts will bow to you. You will be king. All the stags will bow. All the wolves will bow. The bears in the north and the foxes of the south, all the birds in the sky and the beasts in the sea, they will all come to you, little lion, to rest a crown upon your head. And the cub said, "Will I be strong and fierce like my father?" Zaria questioned. "Yes," said his mother. "You will be strong and fierce just like your father....I will keep you safe, my love. I promise you."
Aeron smiled up at her.
"Goodnight my little lion."
"thank you." Jaime added. Brienne turned her cheek.
"Thank you." Arthur added.
"Your mother will be worried about you." Brienne agreed.
"I'm going to be grounded forever." Arthur mumbled.
"Sandor." Zaria whispered.
"Just passing through."
"Are you alright?" Zaria countered.
"I will be the farther I get away from this fucking place." Zaria nodded stroking a hand over Aeron's head. "Where is Arthur?"
"Ran off to be a hero and save his father." Zaria mumbled.
"Fucking hell." Sandor muttered. "If I see him, I will bring him home."
"Thank you." Zaria whispered.
" I, Joffrey of the House Baratheon, first of my name, the rightful King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm, do hereby proclaim my grandfather, Tywin Lannister, the savior of the city and the Hand of the King." Joffrey declared. Bowing, a page presented a pillow to Joffrey, who placed the Hand's brooch up to Tywin, Tywin bowed from atop his horse. Aeron smiled clapping politely but Zaria couldnt focus. She was too worried.
"Thank you, Your Grace." He agreed before turning to leave. Joffrey cleared his throat looking to Petyr next. Zaria kissed Aeron's head leading him out after Tywin.
"For your good service and ingenuity in uniting the Houses of Lannister and Tyrell, I declare that you shall be granted the castle of Harrenhal with all its attendant lands and incomes to be held by your sons and grandsons from this day until the end of time."
" You honor me beyond words, Your Grace. I shall have to acquire some sons and grandsons." Petyr agreed.
"Zaria, look what I just received." Tywin declared. He was still dressed in his finest suit, his pin freshly placed as he held out the scroll.
"Oh thank the Gods!" Zaria declared sobbing into the parchment she tried to ignore the dried blood on it, she was going to see her baby again.
"He's coming home." Tywin agreed.
"You're a virgin, I take it?"
"Walk." Brienne countered shoving him forward.
" Childhood must have been awful for you. Were you a foot taller than all the boys? They laughed at you, called you names? Some boys like a challenge. One or two must have tried to get inside Big Brienne." Jaime pushed.
" One or two tried." She snarled.
"Ah. But you fought them off. But maybe you wished one of them could overpower you, fling you down, tear off your clothes. But none of them were strong enough. I'm strong enough." Jaime added.
" Not interested."
"Gross dad." Arthur grumbled.
" Of course you are. You'd love to know what it feels like to be a woman." Jaime decided when they came across three hanged men. " Ah. "They lay with lions." Tavern girls, I'd say. Probably served my father's soldiers. Maybe one of them gave up a kiss and a feel. That's how they earned this. The glorious work of the Northern freedom fighters. Must make you proud to serve the Starks."
