"Arthur, Aeron, dont make me tell you again." Zaria warned. "Jaime get your sons in. They have to study. Cant be playing with swords all day. Need to challenge their minds."

"We're not playing we are training mum." Aeron corrected.

"Of course my love." Jaime agreed pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Come On boys you heard your mother."

Zaria loved her boys, her husband... less than. She named their first born son after her father, Ser Arthur Dayne.

When all hell broke loose she thought she would be killed as well. She was just a child but Robert was on a war path. Zaria was 13 when Tywin found her. She had held her blade at him, threatening to take his cock off if he took another step closer. Tywin chuckled, Zaria was grabbed by the mountain and she screamed her blade falling from her grasp.

Who are you? Tywin had asked. Zaria's lip quivered thinking it the end. Who are you? Tywin repeated. Dont make me ask again. He had said and when she finally told him a smile curved his lips.

Lady Zaria Dayne. He had plans for her. He would have control of the south once he had control of Zaria Dayne, the last respected house in the south. The Martells sealed their doors shut ignoring the rest of westeros while Zaria was brought to Casterly rock. She had stared back at Jaime as he grumbled and complained. He was 20 and she just turned 14 by the time their wedding was set. She was terrified that he was going to hurt her. Surprised Tywin hadnt killed her already, but Tywin had plans for Zaria Dayne.

They sealed the union with a kiss and Zaria drank more than she ever had. She fell asleep beside her husband untouched for moons before she gave herself over to him. He was gentle with her, he was kind, but she knew, she could tell from the way he looked at her that he didnt want her, he would never love her.

Now almost 13 years later they had two sons and love between them. Zaria hated that Jaime had three more children with Cersei, hated that he wanted to be kings guard before he wed her. Hated that she wanted him to love her even after all this time.

He wasnt a bad husband, he was just a disloyal husband. He took good care of their boys, trained them often with a sword. Arthur wanted to be the best, just like his father. Aeron followed suit, of course he did. He worshipped his father. Zaria loved the bond they had. Considering Jaime couldnt have a relationship with his bastards for the fear of them losing their heads he got to be a real father with a woman he didnt have to hide with.

Yet somehow, he was still messing around with the wrong woman. It wasn't that he didn't love her. He loved her a lot. She was the perfect wife. She gave him two wonderful sons. She was loyal and faithful to him. She didn't say anything when he spent a little too long at the capital. She was an amazing cook. She cooked all his favorites.

Jaime was a jerk.  He knew it. She had a wonderful wife, a wonderful home, wonderful children and he was still the fuck up. There was some thing about first loves that you couldn't get over. Jaime couldn't get over.

"Lady Zaria." She turned at her name.

"Hello tywin." Zaria purred.

"Lovely as always." He kissed both her cheeks.

"Charming as always," zaria countered.

"The boys are growing strong." Tywin added.

"They are. Train with their father every day." Zaria agreed. " their minds need some work though they don't like sitting still for lessons in the library."

"Perhaps I could help with that."

"That would be great." Zaria agreed. "Jaime always said how much he hated you for making him learn to read but he did the same with Aeron." Tywin chuckled. "Jaime is too much of a push over though. When aeron quits he lets him." Tywin shook his head.

"Jaime." Tywin scoffed. Jaime was his golden lion but it was Arthur and Aeron that were the legacy tywin wanted. Joffrey was a monsterous little boy that didnt listen. Tommen was a child he clung to cerseis skirts but arthur and Aeron were going to be golden.
