the years flew by, childe walked the snow covered path of the snezhnaya city and could've sworn he walked past a familiar figure. he turns and sees wanderer in a thick white a blue coat, looking through the stores.

"well, well, look who's here!" childe exclaimed as he walk towards wanderer. wanderer turned and sees that smug smile on childe. "oh, it's you." he said in response to hide his joy of seeing the ginger.

"are you not happy to see me??" childe said and wrap his arms around wanderer, resting his head on wanderer's shoulder.

"what do you want me to say? 'omg! tartaglia!! i missed you so so sooo much! mwah mwah mwah'." wanderer said mockingly."okay, okay, fair enough.. what're you doing all the way in snezhnaya?" asked the ginger as wanderer crossed his arms.

"..ugh. i'm staying here. can't have you coming back and forth from snezhnaya and sumeru all the time." wanderer replied and huffed, a fog of his breth can be seen.

"aww~ you're so sweet, shitoma!" childe said and kissed wanderer on the cheek. "ugh.. i hope you cleaned your mouth before kissing me." wanderer said, wiping his cheek. "hey, it's been over 2 years! why're you wiping my affection off?!?!" childe said in a playful offended tone.

"because i can." replied the other male and turning to go sit on a bench. childe followed and sat next to him. "could've at least kissed me back ya know?" the ginger said and crossed his arms.

Wanderer sighed and glanced sideways at Childe. "You never change, do you?" he said with a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

Childe grinned wider, pleased to see even a hint of a smile on Wanderer's face. "Why would I? I think my charm is part of what you love about me."

Wanderer rolled his eyes but didn't deny it. Instead, he leaned in and quickly kissed Childe on the cheek, making the ginger's grin even more radiant. "There. Happy now?"

"Ecstatic," Childe replied, wrapping an arm around Wanderer's shoulders. "So, what brought you to Snezhnaya for good? It must be quite the adjustment from Sumeru."

Wanderer looked up at the snowflakes gently falling around them. "I just got tired of waiting for you to visit once a year. Figured it was easier to be where you are."

Childe's expression softened, and he pulled Wanderer closer. "That's the best news I've heard in a long time. I promise I'll make it worth your while."

They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, watching the bustling Snezhnayan city around them. The cold was biting, but the warmth of their shared presence made it bearable.

"You know," Wanderer began, his voice thoughtful, "I was never sure about making this move. But seeing you here, I think I made the right choice."

Childe tightened his grip on Wanderer's shoulders. "You definitely did. Welcome to Snezhnaya, Shitoma. Together, we can handle anything."

Wanderer smirked. "Just remember, if you call me 'Shitoma' in public, you might find yourself in a duel."

Childe laughed, the sound echoing in the frosty air. "Deal. I'll keep the nickname for private moments."

As the snow continued to fall around them, they sat close on the bench, the years of distance melting away. They knew there would be challenges ahead, but with each other, they felt ready to face anything.
