childe had walked into wanderer's apartment right after work and greeted him. "hey shitoma!" childe said with a wide grin, closing the door behind him.

"mn. welcome back." replied the other, reading a book, laid on the couch with a blanket over him. childe let out a huff and walked over to wanderer. "and you seem to still be the same. a bookworm."

"cool. means i'm smarter than you." wanderer replied with a shrug as his eyes only focused on the book in front of him.

Childe chuckled, shaking his head as he plopped down on the couch beside Wanderer. "Maybe, but you still need me to reach the top shelf."

Wanderer rolled his eyes, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "You're good for something then."

Childe leaned in, peering over Wanderer's shoulder at the book. "What are you reading this time?"

"It's a historical account of ancient Sumeru," Wanderer replied, finally glancing up from the pages to meet Childe's eyes. "Fascinating stuff."

Childe playfully tousled Wanderer's hair. "You and your old books. One of these days, I'm going to take you out for an adventure instead of you getting lost in these stories."

Wanderer swatted his hand away, but the smile on his face betrayed his amusement. "You know, some people find knowledge to be an adventure."

Childe grinned. "And some people find adventure to be the best kind of knowledge."

Wanderer closed the book, setting it aside as he sat up. "Alright, Mr. Adventure, what did you have in mind?"

Childe's eyes lit up. "I was thinking we could take a trip to the nearby hot springs. It's perfect for unwinding after a long day."

Wanderer raised an eyebrow. "Hot springs, huh? That does sound tempting."

Childe took Wanderer's hand, pulling him to his feet. "Come on, it'll be fun. Plus, you can tell me all about your book on the way there."

Wanderer let himself be led towards the door, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. "Fine, but if you interrupt me, I won't hold back."

Childe laughed, giving Wanderer's hand a squeeze. "Deal. Let's go make some memories."

As they left the apartment, the cold Snezhnayan air greeted them, but the warmth between them made it feel like spring. The hot springs awaited, promising relaxation and a perfect end to the day.

reaching at the hot spring, wanderer could that there are less people at the time. "huh.. i thought there'd be more people here." he said. "hm? why so?" childe asked, looking down at wanderer, right beside him.

"uh, cold weather. duh." replied the smaller male and rolled his eyes. childe chuckle and lead wanderer inside. "yeah, yeah. come on."

the two spent their time in the hot spring for quite a while, talking about whatever came to mind. they were alone as there are barely any men at the place. it could've been an opportunity for childe, but he decides to just chat and not do much. he didn't want wanderer to get uncomfortable.

"..do you know why there is barely any men in the hot spring?" childe said to wanderer. the smaller male looked at childe and replied. "no, i don't."

"it's because they would most likely to come here in the morning. at night, they would rather sleep." childe answered with a chuckle.

Wanderer raised an eyebrow, a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "I suppose that makes sense. Not everyone is as adventurous as you."

Childe laughed, leaning back against the edge of the hot spring. "I guess so. I prefer the quiet of the evening anyway. It's more... intimate."
