wanderer and childe had been together and live in a resident amongst the buildings of the city of snezhnaya. "Ajax, you didn't buy sugar." wanderer spoke, pointing at the list he had given childe the previous day.
"ah, sorry shitoma. i got a bit distracted yesterday." childe replied, scratching his head. wanderer rolled his eyes and sighed. "and you didn't bother to look at the list?"
childe chuckled and responded. "a man's best skill have to be memorizing! not just fighting." wanderer facepalmed and huffed. "haa.. whatever will i do with you.."
"i dunno.. maybe you can touch me-" "no" childe was cut off by wanderer who just turns and continued to cook.
Childe laughed and walked over to Wanderer, wrapping his arms around him from behind. "Come on, Shitoma, don't be mad. I'll make it up to you. How about I go get the sugar right now?"
Wanderer sighed, feeling the warmth of Childe's embrace. "Fine. Just make sure you come back with sugar this time, and not something ridiculous like last time."
Childe grinned and placed a kiss on Wanderer's cheek. "Promise. I'll be back before you know it." With that, he grabbed his coat and headed out the door.
As Wanderer continued cooking, he couldn't help but smile a little. Despite the occasional frustration, Childe's presence always brought a certain liveliness to their home. The sound of the door opening and closing signaled Childe's return, and Wanderer turned to see him holding a bag with the much-needed sugar.
"See? I told you I'd get it," Childe said triumphantly, setting the bag on the counter.
Wanderer shook his head with a small smile. "Well, better late than never. Now, let's finish this meal."
They worked together in the kitchen, Childe helping with whatever tasks Wanderer assigned him. Despite their different personalities, they had developed a rhythm that made their time together enjoyable.
As they sat down to eat, Childe looked across the table at Wanderer, his expression softening. "You know, I really love these moments with you. Just the two of us, living our lives."
Wanderer nodded, feeling a warmth in his chest. "Yeah, me too. Even if you forget the sugar sometimes."
"well, maybe we should store up some sweet flowers at home." childe suggested jokingly. "no way, you'll be drunk from sniffing in pollen" wanderer replied with a huff.
"hey now, i was only kidding. plus, i've already got the sweet flower with me and it's you, shitoma." the ginger stated with a smile as he pointed the fork towards wanderer.
wanderer blushed and clicked his tongue in slight annoyance. "idiot.." he mutters as he look away.
Childe laughed and shook his head. "You're too cute when you blush, you know that?"
Wanderer narrowed his eyes, still feeling the heat on his cheeks. "Just eat your food and stop being a flirt."
Childe grinned, digging into his meal with enthusiasm. "Can't help it, it's one of my many charms."
They continued their meal in a comfortable silence, the occasional banter making the time enjoyable. After dinner, they cleaned up together, the routine now familiar and comforting.
As they finished up, Childe looked at Wanderer with a serious expression. "You know, I've been thinking. We've been through a lot together, and I don't want you to ever doubt how much you mean to me."
Wanderer looked at him, his annoyance from earlier forgotten. "I know, Ajax. I feel the same way."
Childe smiled, pulling Wanderer into a hug. "Good. Because you're my everything, Shitoma."
