"ugh.. stop that, idiot..!" wanderer said as childe had been kissing him all over his face. childe just chuckled and gave one final kiss on wanderer's cheek before pulling away.
"can't help it. you're just kissable." the ginger replied with a smile. wanderer groans but can't deny hoe he enjoyed the amount of affection he receives.
"you know that's unnecessary.." he said. childe responded with another kiss on wanderer's cheek.
"well, it's now my daily routine before leaving." wanderer rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "whatever. just shoo." childe smiled and waved before leaving the apartment.
once childe left, wanderer went to the couch and punched a cushion. "tsk.. that damn ginger.."
Wanderer sat on the couch, still feeling the warmth of Childe's affection lingering on his skin. He sighed and glanced around the cozy apartment, feeling a mix of annoyance and fondness. The constant attention from Childe was both overwhelming and comforting.
He grabbed the book he had been reading earlier and tried to focus, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Childe's smiling face. The way Childe effortlessly broke down his walls and made him feel cherished was something Wanderer still struggled to fully accept.
After a few moments, he gave up on reading and set the book aside. Instead, he pulled out a small, folded piece of paper from his pocket—a letter from Childe, filled with sweet nothings and promises of their next meeting. He had read it countless times, but it always brought a smile to his face.
"Why does he have to be so persistent?" Wanderer muttered to himself, a small smile tugging at his lips despite his best efforts to stay annoyed. He knew deep down that he appreciated Childe's unwavering affection, even if he didn't always show it.
As the day went on, Wanderer found himself missing Childe more than he cared to admit. He glanced at the clock, wondering how long it would be until Childe returned from his errands. The apartment felt too quiet without his presence.
Eventually, Wanderer decided to distract himself by tidying up the place. He moved around the apartment, straightening books, rearranging cushions, and making sure everything was in order. The familiar routine helped to pass the time, but he couldn't shake the anticipation of Childe's return.
Hours later, just as Wanderer was finishing up, he heard the door open. Childe walked in, his cheeks flushed from the cold outside, and immediately spotted Wanderer. His face lit up with a grin.
"Hey there, Shitoma," Childe greeted, closing the door behind him. "Miss me?"
Wanderer rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress a small smile. "You were gone for a few hours. It's not like you were gone for days."
Childe chuckled and walked over to pull Wanderer into a warm embrace. "Still, I missed you," he said softly, resting his chin on Wanderer's shoulder.
Wanderer sighed but leaned into the hug, feeling the familiar warmth and comfort of Childe's presence. "Yeah, yeah. Welcome back."
As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Wanderer realized that despite his initial reluctance, he had grown to love these moments of intimacy and affection. Childe had become an irreplaceable part of his life, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
"..hey, i just notice.. you have an electro symbol at the nape of your neck." childe stated and was about to touch it. wanderer immediately stop him from doing so. "yeah.. that symbol is.. old." he said and paused for a moment before continuing. "and just don't touch it or i'll cut your hands off."
"haha, feisty~ alright, alright. but can't say i promise." childe replied and gave wanderer a quick peck on the lips. "tsk.. makes me wonder what's your damage exactly.." said wanderer as he rolled his eyes and let out a huff.
