within a week, childe got a ship for both him and wanderer to board and visit sumeru. wanderer was happy that childe kept the promise, but upset that childe would check on his work schedule while on the ship.

wanderer leans onto childe with a frustrated groan. "ugh.. can you not look at that stupid schedule for a second? relax a bit for fucks sake.." he said. childe chuckled in response giving wanderer a kiss on the cheek.

"can't say i promise, darling. but i'll try my best." with that reply, wanderer huffed and rolled his eyes. "whatever.. if i see you holding it while in the inn, i'll punch you in the face."

reaching port ormos, they made their way to the sumeru city. though, on the way, they came across a new face. a brunette with gray hair edges and seemed to be an electro vision wielder.

the brunette, seeing wanderer, immediately went to see him. "hey! you must be hat guy." he says as he approaches wanderer. childe held back a laugh at the name which wanderer elbowed the ginger in the guts.

clearing his throat he replied. "uh, yeah. and you are..?" wanderer started. the brunette let out a small laugh before answering. "haha, apologies. i believe this is our first meeting. i'm sethos. pleasure to meet you."

"..i see. i have a feeling i've seen you in some places." wanderer mutters. sethos acknowledging childe's presence put his guard up. "and it seems like you've got a harbinger in your hands.." said the brunette, narrowing his eyes.

wanderer sighed and crossed his arms. "no worries. i'm with him.. i'll keep an eye on him so he doesn't cause a mess around." sethos seemed skeptical but nodded and placed a hand on his hips.

"well.. alright then. safe trip." sethos said. wanderer nods and leads childe away, finding an inn around the sumeru city.

As they made their way to the inn, Childe couldn't help but chuckle softly. "Hat guy, huh? That's a new one," he said, still amused by the encounter. Wanderer rolled his eyes, but a faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"Don't get too comfortable with that name. And try not to cause any trouble while we're here," Wanderer warned, though his tone was softer than before.

Childe grinned and held up his hands in mock surrender. "I promise I'll behave. Just here to enjoy some time with you and maybe a bit of sightseeing."

Reaching the inn, they checked in and were shown to a cozy room overlooking the bustling streets of Sumeru City. As they settled in, Wanderer couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia. The vibrant colors, the lively marketplace, and the scent of exotic spices brought back memories of his past.

Childe, noticing Wanderer's thoughtful expression, walked over and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "Penny for your thoughts?" he asked, his voice gentle.

Wanderer sighed, leaning into Childe's embrace. "Just... memories. It's been a while since I've been here. A lot has changed, but some things stay the same."

Childe nodded, understanding. "I'm glad we came. We both needed this break."

The days that followed were filled with exploration and relaxation. They visited the Grand Bazaar, where Wanderer found some old books and trinkets that piqued his interest. Childe indulged in the local cuisine, dragging Wanderer along to try various dishes.

One evening, as they walked through the city, they decided to visit Nahida at the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Nahida greeted them warmly, her eyes twinkling with delight at seeing Wanderer after so long.

"Wanderer! Childe! It's so good to see you both," she said, her voice filled with genuine happiness.

Wanderer smiled, feeling a sense of warmth and belonging. "It's good to see you too, Nahida. How have you been?"
