I couldn't believe my eyes. Standing right in front of me was her, Wanda, the famous Avenger and powerful witch. My heart raced as I took in the sight of her. The mixed emotions of shock, wonder, and a hint of fear wandered through my body."Well, Hello there." Wanda's powerful and strong voice echoed through the air, sending a shiver down my spine.
"H-hi," I managed to mumble, my heart racing with shock and disbelief. I couldn't believe that I was actually standing in front of the Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff.
"What are you doing here?" Wanda's strong voice filled the air around me, her firm facial expression made it clear that she was not happy to see me here.
I swallowed hard, struggling to find my words.
"I-didn- didn't meant to," I finally managed to stutter out, feeling her firm gaze burning through my skin.Wanda stood there and sensed my tense body language. Her firm yet reassuring tone soothed me. "I won't harm you." Her emerald eyes held a look of concern as she searched my face for answers. "But you still haven't properly answered my question." she continued firmly yet, there was something about her voice that made it clear she wasn't going to hurt me. Startled, I gathered the carouge to say, "I- I didn't mean to get this far. I didn't even notice the sign."
As she held her hands out of her pockets, Wanda seemed to believe me. "You know It's a forbidden era. You shouldn't just wander around here,” Wanda then said, crossing her arms. Though, there was a small hint of softness now displayed in her gaze. "What are you doing in the woods alone anyway?"
"I wanted some time alone. The woods is the only place I can be myself, without being disturbed," I mumbled as I realized I had been unconsciously stepping back. Suddenly, I stumbled over a hole and fell half on my back. Wanda noticed my tension and chuckled gently.
Without hesitation, she offered me her hand to help me up. "Thank you," I said, still hesitating as I began to smile. I noticed how strong she is and in my mind I said "Wow.”Wanda giggled at this while taking a few steps back. "I know that feeling, being alone is a cure for the mind," she admitted as she looked at me again. "The avengers can be quite loud..and annoying even as well. Especially Tony.”
I chuckled. From the stories I'd heard, I knew he could have a big ego. I rubbed my hands together to clean them from the dirt. Feeling a bit more relaxed now, I looked up at the sky. As I noticed It was getting late, my gaze met Wanda's again. She apparently knew what I was thinking cause she smiled as she said, “Bye yn,” causing me to feel a shiver again. Realizing how she can read minds, means she probably knows a lot about me.
Smiling, Wanda looked at me once more before walking away
