We stood face to face with the woman from my previous vision. I swallowed hard, feeling my body trembling. In a subconscious gesture, my grip on Peter's hand tightened, but I then letted go, my hands gripping into fists as my anxieties soared through the roof.
A shiver ran down my spine as I found myself face to face with Aurora. Her frosty breath was nearly palpable against my skin. A knowing grin spread across her face as she looked at me. "Well, well, look at what I have," her voice echoed through the silence.
Natasha, ever the protective ally, moved quickly to protect me, but Aurora's icy blue magic overpowered her, sending her crashing to the ground in an instant. As Nat letted out a groan, aurora's gaze was back on me.
"There's no need to fear," she began. Her gaze sweeping from one to the other. "You are nothing more than refuse." Her eyes locked onto mine as her fingers gently raised my chin, forcing me to hold her gaze. "But you," she continued, her voice lowering to a whisper, "You're different. You're precious."
"Wanda's not the only one capable of reading minds, my dear," she continued, an ugly laugh escaping her lips as she observed the effect her words had on me. "I can sense that you have a special connection to your witch," she taunted, her words piercing through my heart like ice-cold daggers.
Suddenly, without warning, Aurora grabbed my arm, yanking me forward with a powerful grip. Her powers making sure the others were knocked unconscious for a while.
She led me towards the cabin, her grasp on my arm growing tighter and causing me pain. She silenced me with a firm "shush," as she pushed me into the cabin.
Once inside, I noticed that the room was barely having any light, leaving me in the dim glow of dim, flickering candles. Aurora slammed the door shut behind me, locking it tight. She walked away, leaving me isolated and alone, or so I thought.
I desperately scanned the surroundings, hoping to find an escape, but the little light made it near impossible to see anything clearly.
Overwhelmed by fear and anxiety, I slowly got to my feet, my breathing labored but as quietly as possible.Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed through the darkness, causing my heart to skip a beat. "Yn, sweetheart," it called out from the distance.
Without hesitation, I dashed towards the source of the voice, praying for it to lead me to the person I thought I might never see again. And there she was, safe and sound, seated on a chair.
My heart swelled with a mixture of relief and sorrow as I took in the sight of Wanda, bound and weakened by the tick and mean rope. But as our eyes met, my face softened into a gentle smile, forgetting my fears for a brief moment. In a hushed tone, I called out her name. "Wanda!"
Wanda returned my smile, a flicker of warmth in her gaze. "I missed you too, my sweet girl," she whispered, her voice filled with tenderness and love.
With a sense of urgency, I set to work, quickly untying the ropes that bound her wrists. The sight of her Wrists, with red marks and some cuts over them, showed the physical torment she had endured.
Once the ropes were loose, I eagerly released her from her restraints. As the rope fell away, I could see the full few of the damage done to her wrists. My eyes widened in shock.
As Wanda was freed, her arm immediately encircled me in a warm embrace. Without hesitation, I returned her hug, a single tear escaping my eye. I managed to choke out, "I missed you more, Wanda."
Resting my head against her shoulder, I released a contented sigh. For a fleeting moment, all the threats and anxieties faded away.
Before I could say another word, the cabin door suddenly swung open, revealing Aurora standing there. Wanda's protective mode immediately went on and stepped protectively in front of me, even thought she was quite scared herself.
