As I sprinted through the compound hallways, Yelena chased after me. Her voice echoed behind me, "Yn, stop; I'm not going to hurt you," she reassured, her footsteps quick as she chased me with a needle in her hand.

The wound on my head had reopened, blood trickling down due to me bumping into a door just before Wanda and I had made our way to the compound the other day.

Before I could process what was happening, I was suddenly tugged away by a firm grip on my arm. Peter quickly pulled me into one of the nearby bedrooms and swiftly shut the door behind us.

After a brief moment to ensure Yelena's footsteps had made it further down the hallway, he let out a chuckle at the sight of me sprawled on the floor.

Smiling, he extended his hand and helped me stand up. "Thanks for saving my ass!" I quipped, still a bit bewildered from the sudden pull. Peter chuckled in return, clearly amused by Yelena's threat of stitching me up.
As I went through his room, I was captivated by the spider-web-like cartoons. Plenty of books occupied the spaces in between. Dark blue paint was on the walls, creating silent, fictional ambiance. Peter got shy as he witnessed my examination of his surroundings.

"Where's Wanda?" He asked, assuming she'd be nearby.
Peter's shyness gave way to relief when I added, "She's gone to the supermarket." Peter's quick belief in my statement amused me to no end. I looked back to him and quipped, "Nice room." And was about to walk away.

Peter spoke up with a new-found confidence, "Yn, hold on a minute."As I met his gaze, he became shy once more, his voice slightly trembling. "You remember that conversation we had about liking each other?"

I nodded, acknowledging that my feelings had never wavered, and if anything, had grown stronger since our last talk.Closing the distance between us, I hesitantly stepped towards him, realizing that my own nervousness was evident. He smiled nervously in return."I can hardly believe that you're actually here, and I..."

"For once finish your sentence peter," I firmly said.

Peter's words came out in a fast and nervous blurt, "Okay, okay... I just can't stop thinking about you, and I think you're one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen and I-" He stopped mid-sentence again, tucking away a stray strand of hair behind my ear instead.

His touch sent a wave of electricity through my entire being, a sensation I had never experienced before but felt so incredibly right. As I nervously caught my breath, he drew even closer. At that moment, the world around us seemed to fade away.

I held my breath, waiting for him to make the first move. At that moment, Peter closed the gap between us, gently pressing his lips against mine.

My entire body froze, overwhelmed by the suddenness of the kiss. But then, slowly, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer as I began to kiss him back.

He suddenly pinned me up against the wall, our lips still locked in a passionate kiss. A soft gasp escaped me as his hand came to rest on my shoulders, firmly holding me in place. Without breaking the kiss, he began to slowly slip off my jacket.

"Yn, sweetheart, I'm back,"My heart skipped a beat as Wanda called out to me from the kitchen, her voice sweet and warm. Eagerly, I pulled away from the kiss and put my jacket back on.

As I walked out, Wanda stood there, eyeing me with a mixture of amusement and feigned annoyance. She took a sip from the milk pack before playfully questioning me, " I leave for half an hour and this is what I come back to? "

"I thought you didn't like milk," I said trying to change the subject.
"And I thought you didn't like Peter," Natasha quipped, her smirk growing wider. I rolled my eyes, trying to hide my annoyance, but her and Wanda exchanged amused looks. "Oh please, don't do this to me," I muttered, feeling a mix of frustration and embarrassment.

However, my plea didn't stop them, and they continued their playful banter. As I walked to my room, I could hear Wanda's voice calling out from the kitchen, "Oh come on, we were having such a nice moment," her tone filled with mockery.

As I entered my room and closed the door behind me, I allowed myself a moment to reminisce about the events that had unfolded in Peter's room earlier.Despite the interruption from Wanda, the memory of our kiss lingered in my mind. How could I forget? It was my first kiss, and it was from an Avenger.

I closed my eyes briefly, feeling a surge of contentment wash over me. A smile played upon my lips as I lay there in bed. However, my smile faded slowly as an odd and familiar sensation crept over me. My eyes snapped open instantly. It couldn't be. That feeling…

I stood at the window, peering out with a mixture of anticipation and dread. There, unmistakable, was the frosty blue glow, I had hoped to never lay eyes on again. My eyes widened in disbelief, my heart pounding against my chest.

I made my way back to the kitchen, where Wanda and Natasha were still talking. I sighed in relief. Wanda was still okay and unharmed. I caught Wanda's concerned gaze. "Everything okay," she asked gently, concern etched on her face.

To protect her from unnecessary worry, I chose to downplay the situation. I shook my head, not wanting to burden her with my fears.

"Just thirsty," I managed to say, forcing a casual tone as I walked over to the sink to fill a glass with water. Though I tried to appear nonchalant, the tension and worry in me were palpable. I hoped Wanda wouldn't pry further, as I struggled to keep the truth hidden.

Wanda stood beside me, a glass in her hand. "You know I can feel your anxiety seeping from miles away, right?," I nodded in response, fully aware of her ability to read minds and know my emotions, particularly my anxious mood.

"Sometimes my anxiety can be overwhelming," I replied quietly.Wanda's gaze softened with concern as I spoke, and I tried to dismiss the situation, rolling my eyes nonchalantly. "I'll be fine, just need to relax. Maybe have a nap or something," I suggested.

She thought about my words for a moment before responding, ""Do you want me to accompany you then?," Wanda asked gently. I nodded. The thought of having her nearby comforted me, as her presence would help ease my nerves. Plus, it would also give me an opportunity to keep an eye on her, making sure she was safe.

Several hours had passed, and Wanda was now softly slumbering against my shoulder. I couldn't help but grin at the sight of her, finding her endearing in her relaxed state.

However, my feet began to feel restless after sitting in the same position for an hour. My earlier anxiety began to resurface as memories of the magic I had encountered earlier returned to my mind.

Looking down at Wanda once more, I noticed how a wave of despair washed over me. She had just returned, and she had done so much for me. She was the only mother that ever cared.

I slowly got out of my bed, careful not to disturb the sleeping Wanda. Leaving the safety of my room, fear and determination swirled within me. Even though I was still terrified of Aurora's powers, the thought of losing Wanda was more scaring me.

Silently, I made my way towards the section where the Avengers kept their cells.
