As I entered the large prison complex, everything was quiet, except for the bright blue magic energy coming from one specific direction. I had seen Aurora twice now, and her long, almost white blond hair and icy blue eyes made me think of the wicked witch from Narnia. It was clear to me that she wanted Wanda's powers, and she would do anything to get them, even if it was the last thing she ever did.

As I tiptoed into Wanda's room, careful not to wake her as she still laid on my bed, I couldn't help but notice the small nightstand beside her bed. It held a few items, including a little white lamp and a book I had lent her recently.

To my surprise, among those things, I found a picture of us together. Smiling, I gently took the picture off the nightstand, holding onto a precious memory between us. Aurora told me if I followed her instructions, Wanda would be safe.

I looked at the photo, and I knew I had to do everything in my power to help her. Although I hadn't been open about it, Wanda felt like a mother figure to me. I was willing to risk anything, even if it meant getting hurt in the process.

As I put the photo down, I spotted the keys that Wanda called 'my victory keys'. I laughed at the joke, but then I froze. Standing behind me, Wanda leaned against the door frame, disappointment, and concern etched on her face. "And what do you think you're doing, my sweet girl?" Her voice was firm.

I hastily shoved the keys into my pocket, hoping to hide them from her view. "N-nothing, I just… saw the photo of us and wanted to take a look," I explained, my voice faltering. Wanda gave me a knowing look, her expression softening a bit. "You know I can read minds right?," I nodded, trying to act normal and not to think too much.

"Why are you so nervous?," she asked in a firm voice, her emerald eyes fixed on mine. I hesitated for a moment before lying, saying, "I wasn't sure if I was allowed to be in here." Surprisingly, Wanda believed me and chuckled. She gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and wrapped an arm around me, guiding me outside back into the compound. "You know you're allowed to come in here, sweetheart, I've got nothing to hide from you," she said with affection.

After she left again I ran towards Aurora. I walked over to her cell. I couldn't help but feel a shiver run down my spine as I heard her evil laughter. With shaking hands, I tried to open the gate to her cell. In a mocking tone, I asked her, "And how exactly do you think letting you go is going to help me protect Wanda?" Aurora chuckled, her voice filled with malevolence. "Oh, my dear," she said, "your Wanda won't be the only girl who can give me what I want."

As I pushed the gate open, my mind raced with conflicted feelings. On one hand, I had succeeded in unlocking the gate, which had been protected by a spell that only a 'normal' person could break. But as soon as I heard Aurora's words, my doubt grew.

While I longed for Wanda to be fully safe, I knew putting other people at risk, was wrong. Shaking my head, I tried to shut the gate again, but Aurora sensed my hesitation.

With a swift move of her magic, she pushed me down. My head hit the ground hard, causing me to let out a loud groan. Aurora quickly closed the distance between us, her heels making chilling sounds on the floor as she approached. My body froze in fear, and despite wanting to run, I could only wait for her to inflict pain upon me

"Well, well, you thought you were so smart," My heart raced as I tried to find a way out, but my mind was blank. Aurora came to a stop beside me, looking down upon me with a smile.

I swallowed hard, bracing myself for whatever she had in store for me. Sending a wave of her icy magic towards me, it got cut off by fiery red light. The glow fired another ball of magic towards Aurora, who quickly made her escape. "You call this nothing?,"
