After the battle, the Imperial soldiers, wounded or simply shaken to the core, were rounded up, disarmed, and handcuffed to prevent any from escaping. Meanwhile, soldiers and militiamen searched for any stragglers, using bolt cutters to free Darscen from the tight collars around their necks.
From the other side of the portal, numerous blue, white, and red vehicles arrived, some large enough to dwarf the Edelweiss and some of the Imperial light and medium tanks. These vehicles quickly drew the attention of both sides, especially the Imperials, as they witnessed the mere logistics of the alien force that had angered their comrades a month ago.
Field kitchens and triage stations were opened and set up so that the wounded could be treated and fatigued soldiers and militia units could be revived with fresh coffee and hot food and drinks. Due to the careful preparation of this operation, the field kitchens of the THW and the German Red Cross were preheated in time, so that the queues could be dealt with in record time.
While it was a strange feeling for the militia to be seemingly invited, they were soon rejuvenated as they tasted the warm curry sausages, hot dogs, meat soups, soft drinks, sparkling water, and simply sausages and fresh bread that some of the militia women felt they had to compete with the otherworldly soldiers and non-combatants in the kitchens and bakeries.
As the battlefield was scouted and checked upon, the Brigadier was diligently dealing with alot of paperwork. "Ah! This is complete BS! United Nation my a****! Ordering me to stand down and yet protest this 'invasion'! This isn't an invasion but a counterattack to pacify hostile forces! Why can the Hyperpowers use such words to attack random nations for their one-sided economy but actually threatened nations are frowned upon!"
A seemingly young voice is heard from outside the command vehicle. "Huh, Brigadier? There seems to be a conflict brewing." The superior officer turns and looks directly at the young soldier. "Ah, Elisa. Thank you for informing me. Where exactly is this conflict?"
"I- It is at the burned barracks. It seems that the unknown fire was caused by a lieutenant of the 3rd Marine Battalion, Delta Company. He is also at the scene and is a little upset." With a furrowed brow, the brigadier's mood worsens, freezing the young girl and shaking her to the core. "Eh!"
Realising what he just done, he sighed and let his breathe escape, calming down. "Right. Make sure that any UN observers aren't going out and beyond infinity. Make them busy with the prisoners and how they handle themselves."
"Yes, sir!" The newest member of the military salutes him back. He then walks toward the concentration camp barracks, where a large number of lights and sirens can be seen and heard, indicating a large number of rescue workers, both civilian and military, conducting search and rescue missions.
