NATO Base in the Naggiar Desert
Time: Five seconds before 06:00 o'clock

"We are live in 10 seconds... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Los!" A cameraman yells, alerting the handsome, brown-haired reporter of the live broadcast, which is broadcast to hundreds of thousands of people on the other side of consumer-based television. Behind them, dozens of Leopards and Strvs revved their engines and pulled out of the gate. In the background, Panzerhaubitzen 2000s and Radhaubitzen fired their 15.5 cm HE shells at the Imperial fortifications, softening up the next line of defense for the next attack.
"Good afternoon, my name is Marina Löwe, ladies and gentlemen, my correspondent and the studio of Channel 1. We are here at FOB "Primaro" on the edge of the Naggiar Desert on this side of the gate. It is only four months since the surprise attack on and temporary occupation of Koblenz by Imperial forces who had occupied and found the Gate connecting to our world."
As she continued, a loud chopping sound approached, drawing her and her cameraman's attention. As the camera swung around, a large gyrocopter drone began to land on one of the upgraded helipads. "It looks like the Medical Transport Grid is back. This UAV, built solely for medical triage from the front lines, had taken off around 03:00. It looks like it did its job and brought another wounded soldier back safely."
Through her earpiece she received a delayed question from her colleague, who was comfortably sitting back in the studio: "[Marina, what seems to be the situation on the front, are there any notable changes on the front or has everything stagnated since the appearance of the enemy secret weapon?]"
Taking a deep breath, without the camera noticing it, she replied, "That is unfortunately true, so far as I was told by our liasion, though our soldiers and the officers leading them have apparently been preparing their own solution for this roadblock-"
While she was talking about the composition of the consisting armies, two medics and a staff doctor ran to the Grille. As the cameraman turned and zoomed the camera towards it, they pulled a critically wounded soldier, with a torn leg, onto the stretcher, bringing him to an awaiting large ambulance. While they brought the wounded soldier into an enclosed ambulance, more and more Grilles began to appear over the horizon, indicating more wounded brought back to Base.
"It seems that more wounded are brought back. A clear indication that the frontline has once again heated up. Though, there are more wounded Gallian Militias brought here than any NATO, including German, troops."
"[Marina, there are rumors that the General of the Gallian Army and Militia is basically throwing away lives without any consideration and that communication between NATO and Gallia has broken down. Is this true, or are these false rumors spread by some pro-imperial soldiers?]"
Rolling her eyes inwardly at that accusation, while showing a small grin as she finally gets to shine with her expertise in fact-checking, she replied, "Those accusations are partially true, especially with General Von Daemon's attitude of putting pressure on the captains and lieutenants of each unit to keep up the pressure. But it is false that communication has broken down, as both sides are still supporting each other in this endeavor and preventing any breakthrough..."
As she spoke about the rumors, a bright blue light flashed across the screen, blinding everyone on TV, in the studio, or on the ground. After recovering from the flash, the discombulated people looked for clues to this seemingly blinding light. As some went to check on the wounded in the triage area, panicked cries of confusion, pleas, awe, and horror were heard.
