You sighed closing the laptop and closed your eyes in tiredness. Recently you're assigned in a important project and you had all the responsibilities of the work.
Your boss trust no one other than you which loads your works more.
You sighed checking all the piles of files and took your phone opening messages. But the next second you felt disheartened getting no reply from your beloved husband.
Still being a considerate wife you shrugged it off knowing how busy he is. After being the CEO of the biggest and richest automobile company of the country isn't a joke.
Currently he's working on launching of a new design for car as he doesn't have time for himself. But still he tries his best to fulfill your wishes which you likes about him the most.
‘Ynie, it's almost 8, let's go.’
Your bestie Yuki barged in as you nodded. Packing your stuffs you both reached ground floor while talking about work.
‘Come, I'll drop you.’
She suggested but you denied.
‘It's ok Yuki, Jungkook will come to pick me today.’ She nodded smiling.
‘You're lucky girl, your hubby is so caring.’ You chuckled hitting her playfully.
‘Ok bye!’
And she drove away. You walked out of the building and stood near the gate waiting for him. After standing for half an hour you decided to call him.
Maybe he has forget. You thought calling him but unfortunately you got no response. Again called him few times but still no reply.
What's wrong? Now you're getting worried as this never happened before.
When suddenly a message popped up on the screen.
‘I'm sorry babe, I'll be late today. Please get a cab, don't wait for me. Love you.’
You sighed seeing his text. You felt relieved that he's ok but this behavior was unexpected. He could've informed you before so you wouldn't wait there like a fool.
Shrugging it you booked a cab and left.
[3 hours later]
At office, Jungkook smiled in satisfaction as he finally completed the presentation he was working for days.
He rubbed his eyes in tiredness switching off the laptop. He opened his chats only to found no reply from you.
‘Sorry babe, I'll make it up with you.’
He sighed and left for his home. On the way, he stopped by the traffic when coincidentally his eyes fell on a familiar figure. He looked at her carefully before calling her.
‘Hey Nabi!’
She looked at him and smiled
hesitantly.
‘Are you going home?’ She nodded.
‘Come, I'll drop you.’ She shook her head in denial.
‘No it's fine Jeon, I'll take bus.’
‘But it's quite late Nabi, and also it's not safe for girls to be alone at this hour.’
Though she didn't want but seeing no sign of bus he decided to go with him. She got into the car and he started driving.
‘What have you thought about the interview? You're coming tomorrow right?’
