chapter fourteen

The clock strikes 12 when then main door creaked opened by me. I entered in dark silence and walked straight to our room. Without making a single noise I entered carefully and saw her sleeping.

She might have fell asleep while waiting for me. I sighed and left to fresh up. I was caught up with some work and couldn't reply her calls.

I stood under the cold shower thinking how to approach her. I'm not sure how will she react or am I doing right.

I don't want to hurt her but at the same time I can't stay away from my son. I know I'm being selfish but am I doing wrong? If I tried to make her convince to accept Jihoo as our son, will she hate me? If I tried to make everything right, it won't hurt right?

I know this wrong but I can't help. I'm too desperate to understand my circumstances. After my night routine I laid beside her.

I stared at her and caressed her soft hairs before placing a soft kiss on her lips.

'I love you.. whatever I'm doing is only for our good.. please forgive me.'

I hugged her tight and fell asleep.

[Time Skips: Next morning]

You're preparing breakfast while thinking about yesterday's incident. You're eager to tell him but also not sure. What'll he his reaction? That's what you curious about. Moreover it's just an assumption. That lady might be wrong too.

Sighing heavily you placed all the dishes on the dining when you felt someone behind you.

'Good morning.' You smiled hugging him.

'Morning.'

You both sat opposite to each other
and started eating in silence. You both were anxious to talk to each other when he decided to speak first.

'I'm sorry, I couldn't answer your call yesterday. I was a bit busy.'

You nodded as he continued.

'I was with Joon hyung.'

He took a breath collecting his words and looked at you.

'I've decided something and want to have your permission before going for it.'

You looked at him confused.

'What's it?' He sighed heavily.

'I want to co parent Jihoo.' You stared at him for a moment to digest his words.

'Joon hyung said I can appeal legally for co parenting Jihoo with Nabi and he'll help me with this.' He looked at your eyes trying to read them.

'Are you ok with it?'

You looked down on the food not uttering a word as you don't know
how to react. He hold your hands making you look up at him.

'This will be good for both of us.. I'll have my son with me and you'll have someone who will call you mom. He's like your child, isn't he? Don't you love him?'

You pressed your lips tight before nodding slowly.

'I know babe, you love him too. Let's raise him like our son together. I promise he'll love and respect you, please accept him as your son.'

You sighed finally opening your mouth.

'What about Nabi?' You voice held no emotion.

'I hope she'll agree with us. I'm not taking him completely. We'll co parent, she'll be there for taking care of him too.'
