chapter seventeen

That night Jungkook didn't returned as you stayed alone in the house. The next morning, as you're still sleeping when you woke up by a familiar voice.

'Mom..'

Your mother, Gia was talking over her phone when your voice caught her attention. She noticed you and smiled before putting her phone back.

'How're you my child?' She said sitting beside you.

'But what're you doing here?' You asked being totally confused.

'Since yesterday I'm trying to call you so many times but you didn't picked up making me worried, so I decided to visit you. Where's Jungkook? I tried to call him but he didn't picked up too.'

You sighed looking away. You decided not to tell her anything and make her leave. You're already tired of your life and she'll do nothing but increase it. You tried to stood up but
she stopped you.

'Where're you going? I've made some porridge for you.'

She took it from the side table and wanted to fed you when you stopped her looking straight into her eyes.

'Enough mom, now tell me what's brought you here? What do you need now?' She scoffed shaking her head.

'Your mother has come herself to meet you and this is how you're gonna treat her? I can't believe you're my daughter.'

'I don't wanna remember you're my mother too.' You replied on her face as she sighed placing the bowl back.

'Of course, you ungrateful girl. Do you forget you're the one who called me few days ago to meet me. As you didn't come, I decided to come here, why're you making so big deal of it?'

You sighed closing your eyes.

'Yes, I did wanted to meet you but that's to know about dad.' She gasped standing up.

'Dad? Whom're talking about? That man who left you when you're just a baby? For whom we had so miserable life? Who insulted your mother? That man is more important to you than your mother who  brought you up with so much struggle?'

You decided not to continue the topic as it brings only pain to you. You're about to left the room when she said.

'I heard Jungkook's ex wife had
returned with her child.' Your steps halted as she smirked.

'How did you know?'

'I know everything dear, afterall you're my daughter. It's my responsibility to know what's going on in your life.' She enjoyed how her words can still affect you making you nervous.

'Where're they now? Did Jungkook went to meet them?' You turned around glaring at her.

'That's none of your business.'

'Of course it's mine! I'm a mother Yn, how can I see my daughter's home breaking and not say anything.' She hold your hands and made you
sit beside her.

'I understand your pain dear, you cannot hide it from your mother. Tell me everything.'

She said softly by caressing your hairs as melting your heart.

After a long time someone talked to you so sweetly and you got carried away by her fake sweetness. You trusted her and took out all your pain.

'I didn't knew anything mom.. he only said he was divorced before our marriage.. but now he revealed he had a son with his ex wife, Nabi. Though he don't love her anymore but he want his son to live with us in this house.

I didn't want it but still I tried understand his emotions being a father, I let him do what he wants. But today when I mistakenly fed his son prawn which is allergic to him.
