You regretted every words of yours. Indeed your insecurities blinded you. You gulped looking back at Jungkook who was admiring his son.

You stumbled back losing your senses as you hold the chair for support. Feeling unwell you decided to call him and leave the place.

‘Kook..’

‘Yes babe?’

‘I want to go home..’

‘But why so suddenly?’ He asked being confused.

‘I just remembered something important, please let's go back.’

‘Fine..’ He nodded and turned to Jihoo.

‘Baby, enough playing for today, we'll play some day again. Now we've to leave..’

‘Why're you leaving? Stay tonight with me. I want you to tell bedtime stories.’

Jungkook smiled caressing his face.

‘Maybe next time?’

‘No! I want today! You've to stay with me!!’

He yelled hugging Jungkook tight as he looked at you sighing.

‘Jihoo..’

Before he could say anything he started crying his lungs out.

‘Appa please!!’

You saw Jungkook sighing heavily as you wanted to stop Jihoo but considering your emotional state you decided to stay silent.

‘Babe.. I think I've to stay a bit more.’

Jungkook said but you're not even surprised at this point.

‘Kook..’

‘Don't worry, you go I'm coming in an couple of hours.’

You sighed knowing the kid wasn't going to stop easily.

‘Fine..’

You controlled yourself huffing out of the apartment and drove to your house while wiping your tears. Everything is going out of your hand.

Your insecurities, Jungkook and your peace, every single thing. You really don't know whom to blame for this –

is it Jungkook or the situation?

[Flashback: Yn's childhood]

The bell rang loud indicating the class over. All the students packed their bag and leaving one be one when little Yn sat their looking outside of the window alone.

‘Hey Yn! Aren't you going home?’

One of her classmates asked as she looked down fiddling her fingers.

‘Y-Yes..’

‘Who will come to pick you up? Mom or dad?’

Her head hung low as she
don't have any answer.

‘No one dude. I heard her father left her and her mom never comes to school.’

Another student exclaimed laughing.

‘What? But why?’

‘Of course who want a bad girl like her? That's why her parents left her.’

She closed her eyes tight as tears cascade down her pink cheeks and hands turned into fists.

‘So sad! We feel pity for you Yn.’

‘Also you know, my mother said her parents wasn't even married. She's an illegitimate child. My mom said to stay away from her, let's go.’

They nodded and left. But Yn sat there sobbing in silence. The pain of insults were indeed unbearable for that little girl.
