Chapter nineteen

‘What's the proof Jihoo is your son? What if she got fvcked by her boyfriend or a one night stand and now trying to dump that mistake on you–’

‘ENOUGH YN!’ Jungkook stood up raising his voice as you flinched.

'Watch your words!’

You looked at him shocked. He huffed running his fingers through his hairs trying to control his tears.

‘Jihoo is my son and I've already did dna test.’

You left shocked as he came towards you slowly.

‘Yn, I didn't expect such words from you. My Yn was never like this. She was kind and understanding. What's wrong with you?’

Tears streamed down slowly as you stared at him helplessly.

‘I don't know Jungkook.. I'm just tired. Tired of being kind and understanding.. I tried my best to understand everyone but no one tried to understand me.. my feelings.. what I want.. no one fvcking cares. I'm tired of you Jungkook.. I'm tired of us..’

He stood numb and shocked.

Your words hit him hard as he stared at you silently. Somewhere of him knew that he's the reason behind this day. In the process of chasing his happiness he forgot you.

He always believed that Jihoo will give you the feeling of mother and make you happy but it was a delusion which broke today. He realized his actions but now there's no going back.

Is it too late?

‘I don't have any face to beg an apology.. if you're tired of me I understand.. you should be. I failed to take care of you.. I failed to love you..’

He looked up at you while tears ran down silently.

‘I'm ready to do anything you say..’ you looked up at him.

‘I need break from this relationship.’

He felt a pang in heart as if someone stabbed him.

'Please Yn.. think again.. we can solve this problem together..' He begged.

'I've already decided Jungkook.. I need space.. just leave me alone for sometime..'

He had no choice other than agreeing even if his heart cries. He took a last glance at you before walking out. You stared at his fading figure and cried hard hugging your knees.

You said what you wanted but did you really want this?

Then why it's hurting so bad?

Why seeing him leaving breaks your heart?

You don't know where he'll go. He didn't even eat anything since morning. You felt guilty for blaming him so rudely.

But you couldn't control your frustration and insecurities which made you lash out on him. It's not the first time you hurted him like this. Everytime your insecurities took the best of you, you hurted him.

Whereas he stood silent everytime because he knew your issues very well. He was already tired and exhausted from the day and now your words. You sobbed regretting your words as you stood up. You run out of the house to stop him but he was already gone.

[Time skips: At Namjoon's place]

Namjoon was reading a book sitting in his balcony when he heard his doorbell. He opened the door but got surprised seeing Jungkook.

‘Can I?’ He asked as Namjoon nodded.

‘Yeah sure.. come inside.’ He tiredly took his body inside and fell on the couch.
