After your mother left, you stayed in your room all day. You don't have any energy left to went out or eat anything. You tried to call Jungkook few times but not getting any reply you lost that hope too.
You just want Jihoo to be recovered quickly. When suddenly your phone rang catching your attention.
Hearing the ringing, you took your phone in hope he'll call back but it's not what you thought.
It was your friend, Yuki as you adjusted your broken voice before receiving so that she won't be suspicious.
‘Hello..’
‘Hey Yn! How're you? I just returned tomorrow from the business trip and heard you've left our company.’
‘Yeah..’ You replied shortly.
‘That's not fair, you didn't informed me once. But I'm happy for you, now you can be always close to your loving hubby.’ She giggled but you don't even smile.
‘Hm..’
‘You sounds low, are you ok?’
‘Yeah I'm fine, just not feeling well since few days, nothing serious.’
‘Have you seen a doctor.’
‘No.. I don't think it's needed.’
‘You're still the same Yn, no care towards yourself. Do Jungkook know or shall I complain to him?’
‘No please.. he doesn't know.. actually he's not here.’
‘Then where's he?’
You don't find any ways other than lying because she might want to meet him and you after returning. You don't want to include her in the mess of your life or she'll worry about you.
‘He's in a business trip.’
‘Ok then, let me take you to hospital. I'm going too for my daily check ups.’
‘It's fine Yuki–’
‘No excuses. I'll take you from your house and after visiting doc, we can visit cafe.’
‘But..’
'Ok bye!’
And she hang up as you don't get the chance to stop her. You're struggling with your thoughts when you remembered Jihoo was also admitted in the same hospital. You might get chance to see him and Jungkook. And with the thought you stood up to change in something casual and waited for Yuki.
[At hospital]
After doing the tests, you sat across the doctor as she sighed.
‘Are you worried or feeling low about something?’ You nodded silently.
‘I see. Signs of fatigue and weakness is evident which is very dangerous for your health now. You should be more careful.’
‘Why doctor?’ ‘You're pregnant.’ Your eyes widened aa you left shocked.
‘I'm not sure but will confirm after the reports come.’ You nodded and walked out of the chamber.
‘What does she say?’
‘Just tiredness and weakness.’ You lied.
‘Then why did she performed those tests?’
‘Maybe to get sure, I don't know..’ You said looking away as she was easy to convince. You felt guilty for lying to a friend who's so close
and loving to you but you've no choice.
‘Ok fine. Can you wait for a minute, I'll just bring my reports then we'll leave?’
‘Sure.’
You smiled as she left. You took the chance and asked the receptionist about Jihoo. He said the room as you went there. You found a nurse coming out of the room when you asked her about Jihoo's condition.
