She stepped out of her room, hoping the flush would leave her skin as she made her way down the hall, eyes scoping for Price or the rest of the team. When she didn't see him, she typed out a quick message on her phone.
The trip to the admin building was quick, and when she reached the meeting room, everyone else was already inside.
She quirked a brow, "Still no Ghost?" she asked Price.
"He said he was on his way," he responded.
There was something in the way he watched her that told her he suspected something but wasn't sure what.
They'd have to be more careful.
Finally, Ghost entered the room, shutting the door behind him.
"Right, I'll get right to it; we got word that the terrorists are planning some sort of attack. There were no major details, and the conversation was barely captured on the bug, but something is coming. Adcox, Laswell, and I are in agreement; we move in as soon as possible."
"Has the tracker stopped?" Ghost asked, arms crossed over his chest.
"Not yet, but the team is on stand-by to move in and check the place out. Once we they get to the final site and they give us an idea of enemies there, we'll put the plans into action."
Drew nodded, "We have support of the MAF, correct? If there are more hostiles in the place than they can handle, they can have backup?"
"Yes. They're already organizing a team for it. Mikkola, what have you decided is the best way to raid the base?"
"Based on the audio, the place goes quiet around eleven at night, so we suggest moving in around two am. We should be able to take them by surprise that way. We move in with three people to their one; with one team staying outside, a second for capture, and one sweeping. I can imagine there won't be a lot of space in there, so we can only have a few people at a time; 141 members, Lieutenant Laakso, and myself. We take people alive but prepare for casualties. For all we know, they may have weapons in there that we aren't prepared for, so communication and teamwork is key. If there are rooms, we clear them, otherwise we get people away from the weapons. We'll have the second team move in behind us to get hostiles cuffed and into trucks. Once we get the entire place cleared, we collect any evidence. We'll have to convert the old barracks into holding cells for now, and Price, we'll need to ship them to your base; our lock-up can only handle five people at a time. It's too risky to have them outside proper holding."
"I'll notify them and we'll get helos here on standby until we need to transfer."
"Does anyone have suggestions for the plan?" Mikkola asked, eyes moving from one person to the next. When no one commented, he nodded. "As for the German and Japanese targets, we'll have to be slightly more flexible. The German time zone is close enough that when we move on the bunker, it will be night for him as well. Japan is seven hours ahead, so it will be nine in the morning when we move in. Getting them into custody will be more difficult, based on the fact that the target might not be within their home.
"It'll be the same issue for the second weapon storage if they stop anytime soon," Gaz commented.
"Sending in troops early is risky, but we aren't very familiar with the routine of the Japanese target. He didn't leave the house today, but there's no saying if he might tomorrow," Mikkola continued.
"If we have to move in before their routine is familiar and they leave the house, our guys intercept," Drew stated. "If its on the street or not, we need them and any information they have. And as for the second weapon storage, as long as they aren't alerted, our troops should be able to take them by surprise enough. As long as it's safe to..."
