"She's with them," Price relayed over the radio.
Simon's hands tightened on the steering wheel, cursing the mission.
"You have to get to Soap first though. He's hurt."
"Fuck," he hissed before pressing his earpiece. "Rog, Price. How far out is the medical team?"
"The helo will be on site in twelve minutes."
"What's our plan?"
"Stabilize Soap and trust Daisy. She's wearing the wire, she knows to get answers."
"Is she wearing the tracker?"
The radio stayed silent, and Simon nearly barked the question again.
"No. Only the wire."
He shook his head, "Did they hurt her?"
"It didn't sound like they did. But they plan to..."
His teeth clenched at that. "We get her out of there before that can happen. She's still not healed from the attack."
"We will. She's not staying there any longer than she needs to."
The thought made his stomach turn because she didn't want the plan to go ahead. She begged him to find another way and now she's paying the price for it going wrong.
He slammed his hand down on the steering wheel, pushing the accelerator harder.
Soap is hurt and Daisy is gone.
