A large map had been moved into the meeting room, dotted with pins that marked each storage facility.

Over the last twenty-four hours, the scouting teams had reported back with news that no one wanted: each facility had been abandoned. Now the teams had to search surrounding areas, go through camera feeds, and scrap for even a hint of where the weapons had been relocated to.

And her job was to figure out the intent of the original locations.

Jeram Tangkai Padi, Malaisia

Dinton, England

Politotdel, Russia

Hillat ed Dareisa, Sudan

Rayton, South Africa

Shellford, Australia

Chemin-Guay, Canada

Perkinsville, USA

Montelongo, Mexico

Novo Horizonte, Brazil

None were near government agencies, or religious headquarters... None of them had large populations but were within driving distance to metropolitan areas. But so far there wasn't a clear reason to attack civilians.

She dropped her attention to her computer, searching Jeram Tangkai Padi and beginning a background on the surrounding area. The facility was a few dozen kilometers away but was close to the neighboring town's airport. That seemed to be the most targetable location in the area. As she broadened her search, she began noting a few more locations of interest; another airport, a religious center, on and on.

As she continued to expand the radius from the facility, she wasn't sure where to stop. The municipalities, the state, the region?

Theoretically, the weapons would need to be within a few hours of the target... at least that's what she believed. She decided then to cut the radius off at a hundred kilometers—and if she got to the end of her search and still couldn't ID a target, she'd expand.

After pinning a number of possible locations, she moved to Dinton, England. At least that location had their weapons confiscated so they weren't a threat any longer.

Her search started again and she inched further and further from the facility. The longer she stared at the screen trying to identify a target, the more frustration built within her; it was such a needle in a haystack situation. They needed one of the terrorists to speak, to give them something.

But they wouldn't and she knew it. Her neck and head ached, and she leaned back, eyes moving to the map as she rolled her shoulders carefully. It of course brought an ache to her collarbone, but she ignored it.

Dinton...

Again, Dinton was the nearest town, but the facility was just outside its limits.

She traced over the roads and highways, eventually finding their base a few hundred kilometers northwest. The thought of those weapons being used to attack them crossed her mind in a wave of indignation. Considering they were so far away, so she doubted they were a target... but maybe now they were. Maybe the terrorists were shipping some weapons closer, planning to attack and get rid of the 141 for good...

She rolled her eyes, continuing to scan over the map.

Really, there was no way for the terrorists to know what base they were stationed at. Especially considering there were so many installations in the UK...

The thought had her spine straighten abruptly, her mind jumping.

Military bases.

"Daisy?" Simon asked.
