Kane's POV

Gale's arm wasn't hurt that bad, thankfully it just popped clean off. I took her arm and said slowly,"I'm going to count slowly, okay?"

Gale growled,"Just hurry up already."

Ahh, other Gale is in control, I thought to myself as I said,"Three, two, one."

I shoved it back in place, she groaned in pain. I winched as I felt it through our mate bond, yeah I can tell from experience breaking an arm sucks. I then took out my first aid from my backpack and pulled up her sweater sleeve and wrapped bandages around her arm. In a few seconds I've got her in a makeshift sling from bandages.

I said,"Good news, since you've become more accustomed to your wolf, you'll have better werewolf healing now!! Should all be healed up in a few hours."

She glared at me, yeah I thought to myself, it still jarres me whenever she has her whole personality shifts. I then felt guilty, I probably shouldn't be thinking that and it was all my fault to begin with. I didn't check on Gale enough and I completely forgot about altitude sickness, I should have made her gone up in small doses to build a tolerance and climbed bellow her to check on her.

I sat down next to her on the grass, I sighed,"I'm sorry Gale, this was my fault, I should have payed more attention, sorry."

She sighed as she scratched her head awkwardly, she said,"Yeah whatever, things like this just happen."

I looked at her with shock, did she just forgave me? But I thought other Gale hated me. I couldn't help but smile a little, I got up and said,"Alright!! Let's find a cave to settle for the night. It's going to get pretty cold."

She nodded as I helped her get up. I looked to the distance, we were now on the bottom of two massive wide spread hills that made up the valley. They took up the terrain as far as the eye could see. Unlike the mountain we took up here, everything around here was long stretched and flat, like the lands were lazy. There was nothing but yellowish grass and a few small creeks straight ahead. No forest in sight just miles and miles of grass and stone. As the cold winds blew at my face, I looked up at the sky, it looked pretty cloudily, I mumbled to myself,"It probably won't snow on the first day of winter."

It snowed on the first day of winter. Winds were howling in the distances as we forced ourselves to move, the snow began to pick up, blinding us and trapping us with snow against our feet. We put on our winter gear but it still was freezing, even with our werewolf endurance, we won't last a few hours.

I heard Gale yell over the blazing winds,"Where the hell are we going to go!?! There's nothing!!"

She was right, we still were miles away from the closest mountain slope. I cursed to myself as I tried to shield her from the wind and snow, I hugged her tightly as we moved, she held on tight but I could hear her breath getting more ragged. She has a weaker restrained than me, she won't make it that long. I squinted as I scanned the surroundings, the sun was setting so the scenery was getting pitch black with all the winds and snow. I then spotted something.

I yelled,"Over here!!"

I found a small crack in the ground, only wide enough for us to barely squeeze through. The crack was narrow and small, I took off our bags as we crawled through the opening and went into a small cavern. It was a small sleek smooth stone cave that you couldn't even stand up straight, but their was a small stream of running water, and protects us from the wind and snow above.

Me and Gale collapsed on the ground in relief, my whole body ached as I sighed. We were both wet and cold but Gale seemed especially bad, she huddled next to me shivering, she looked like she might pass out any second, I said,"I think you might have hypothermia, wait a second."
