Kane's POV

I groaned a little as I rubbed my head, feeling a bit groggy as I felt like I've awoken from a bad dream. I opened my eyes to see myself laying on a ripped up couch, I squinted as sunlight hit me  from the cracked windows above. I got up as I touched my head, I removed what looked like to be a charm. I coughed a little as my throat felt a little bit dry.

I heard a female voice call out,"Yeah, be sure to drink a lot of water, there was a bit of septic dust in the potion."

I looked up to see a female highschool girl with a backpack on and everything, hopping down from a ladder, she said,"There's food in the fridge if you want, just don't take my pudding or I'll kill you."

She was about to exit, I looked at her a little bit in confusion. She was a short and small girl around seventeen I think, she had dark brown hair with grey highlights in it, tied up in a pony tail showing that she she had silver star shaped earrings, she was wearing a crop top with a cut up demi jacket and black baggy sweat pants, her entire left arm was cover with banages and seem to not be working, she looked so small yet imitating. She was the witch I was recommended?

I asked,"Are you Vixen?"

Vixen nodded as she said walking to a solid wall,"Yep that's me, your trail period ends in a month just to let you know, old man. Anyway you should know how the enchantment around the building works, so feel free to explore around in the mean time. We'll start looking for the crystal when I get back from school."

So she's a witch, I scoffed in disbelief, a real magician. Besides the old lady I've haven't met any other witch on our travels. I looked at her as she drew a magic circle on the wall, I can't believe... She looks so normal, just like any ordinary human, even the old lady emitted some sort of aura...

How did she even find us anyway? I commissioned her through scrolls, I don't think I've ever talked with her directly...

I was wrapped up in my own thoughts but I noticed the charm and said,"This is a sixth seal right? How are you able to make something so complicated..."

The opening glowed blue as she glanced back and said,"Huh, the old hag really was telling the truth, a werewolf who studies the art of magic."

She laughed to herself as she disappeared. I sighed as I looked around, I was in an massive empty warehouse with almost nothing inside it besides this little corner. Wait where's Zephyr?

I jumped up and scanned around, I was so busy talking with the witch I didn't-

I heard a soft,"Ow!"

I looked down to see her sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor, she rubbed her eyes softly as she got up, I knelt down and said,"Sorry, are you hurt."

She blinked a few times and said,"Yeah I'm fine."

I noticed it was Gale now, I'm getting better at telling them apart now. I helped her up,"Brush up, I'll make breakfast."

She nodded as she sat down on the couch still sleepy, I walked over to the "kitchen" area, but it was more like kitchen appliances that were plugged into a wall pretty hazardly if I do say so myself. I opened the fridge to see various random vials and concoctions, I sighed, why the hell does she put those here? I took out some eggs and bacon and scanned the area for some pepper, I took some out of a small file cabinet. This girl is so messy I thought to myself, I opened up a small fire burner and began to cook.

In a few minutes on some paper plates I made us some eggs and bacon, even if it's like this, having and real cooked meal felts nice. I sat down next to Gale who brushed her hair away from her face as she blew on it, she then took a bit and said softly as color flushed in her cheeks,"That's so good."
