Chapter 16 : The Guild

Zypher's POV

I growled as I waited impatiently for Kane to finish talking.

I asked Gale in my head,"Does he not trust me enough? After all the things we've been through? It's because I'm a fake huh."

"No!! That's not true!! "Gale said in my head,"You know Kane, he probably has his reasons, in no way does he not trust you. You've always been there when I talk with him, do you really think he's like that?"

I looked to the side and sighed,"This is really annoying, I took control on a whim, can you just take over already?"

"What?? No way, besides you took control because you were jealousss," I can almost picture her teasing face,"I won't touch the body until you make sure,y ourself he loves you too!!"

I scoffed out loud, turning bright red, I said in my head,"No I don't!!

"You uhh, having an conversation with your other you?"The Nilaya human asked me, as we both were leaning against the wall in front of the door.

I growled as I looked away, I honestly hate her. She too happy, too fake, I especially don't like how close she is to Kane.

The guard asked politely in a monotone voice,"Can you both please leave? If you don't have business, just let me do my job."

Ni gasped a little,"Ah!! Sorry Hire, we'll leave right away"

She patted his back as he sighed, she grabbed my hand and said with a smile,"You wanna get a drink?"

I yanked my hand away and said coldly,"Don't touch me."

Nilaya looked unfazed, she then proceeded to push me upstairs. I growled again, protesting, as she forced me to sit down at the high stool at the counter table. She said in a peppy voice,"One orange juice and one beer, please!!"

The bartender nodded, clearly used to her nonsense. I said firmly,"I am not drinking, I won't get Gale drunk."

She laughed a little and giggled,"No the beer is for me silly, I may not look like it but I'm in my twenties, and you are like what, sixteen?"

"Eighteen,"I said as I got my orange juice, I sniffed using my werewolf, to try and see if it was poisoned.

Nilaya laughed again,"You really are protective of Gale, aren't you?"

I was about to lunge at her, I yelled,"How do you know about Gale!!"

Other humans looked over, but Nilaya waved them off, she said,"Kane told me about her before, and you too, I just gave some advice before that's all."

"Besides, Gale was the one met before in the forest right?"She said as she took a huge gulp.

Gale said in my head,"Zeph, clam down, I don't think she means any harm."

"So? Why the hell is she talking with Kane about us?"I snapped back.

She said while she continued to chug her beer,"Wow, you guys are really nice friends huh? My other friend who had something like this, always fought with his other personas."

I got up in anger, I was going to punch her if this continues, I said,"I'm going to Kane."

She said whiling leaning against the table,"Common, why don't you-"

BOOM!! We both heard the room shake, and we looked at each other. I didn't even hesitated, I slipped directly into the floor bellow us with ease. After feeling a cold rush, I was in the basement in an instant, then I saw Kane getting thrashed on by the Guildmaster.
